“Absolutely love the Krispy Crunchy chicken tenders. These are very large pieces, bigger than all the other fast food places that serve chicken tenders. Great deals on 3 piece, 4 pieces tenders with potatoes wedges taste amazingly good and tender. I now prefer this places chicken tenders to the skinny scranny chicken tenders offered at other fast food places! That are over priced. I get full just eating 2 tenders and couple wedges.”

“The cashiers are hilarious ? and always very helpful. They have an excellent selection of bourbon and all different types of spirits. The prices are very fair and there's multiple registers to check out at. The bathrooms are clean.
The only time there's much of a wait is after Hubbell first shift let's out or it's the 1st and 15th. If it's those dates you'll have to wait on the lottery ticket gurus.”

“All employees are incredibly sweet, never had to use the restrooms, but the rest of the store is kept clean, and I make it a point to come here for gas rather than anywhere else, even other breaktimes, purely because I love the staff.”

“My friend and I were driving through on a road trip and made sure to schedule a Casey’s stop since there are no Casey’s by our homes. Even though it was the afternoon, the sweet kid behind the food counter offered to make us a breakfast pizza when we told him how much we loved it. The manager was also an absolute sweetheart and upgraded us to a medium breakfast pizza. The store was clean and organized and everyone was so friendly! Also love the dragonfruit lemonade slushie!”
“The recent negative reviews for this place surprised me. I'm not disputing their experiences but my family has had nothing but positive experiences at Breaktime on Smiley. The employees are always hard at work, but stop what they're doing to help customers. When I'm in the store I see them consistently greeting customers even though most of the time they are ignored. The store is always clean, which is an impressive feat considering the constant stream of customers. There's one employee whose name I wish I knew but she's always so nice and personable, and I always see her helping new employees, must be a manager. If not she probably should be.
I've done a lot of jobs from fast food to factory work and none took it out of me like working at a gas station. You're basically cashier, janitor, stocker, inventory specialist, security guard, bartender and counselor all at the same time. And customer after customer either talks down to you, or completely ignores you because they won't get off their phone long enough to pay for their stuff. I can't count the number of times a customer would come up to the register while on their phone, and silently mouth what they wanted or point at it so they wouldn't have to interrupt their call. Cashiers have to eat it all day so if you have a rude cashier, maybe just eat it for once instead of putting working people on blast.”

“Ad a long term resident in this area (I graduated from Hallsville High School in 1984}, I would like to say this store has a variety of things, you can get fresh hot food and fountain soda, candy, the usual things, gas and oil. There restroom is clean and the store appears clean too. The staff has been polite when I have stopped by the store. They have a few people that have worked their long term but they don't seem to keep other staff very long. I do love this community!”
