I had my checkbook but they don't take checks so she pulled out her own wallet and paid for $5 in gas for me so I could get to work. I offered to write her a check and she said no, just pay it forward. She is a blessing to your company. “I love the point system here and the employees are always helpful when you have questions and I don't have to stand in line very long. To be able to use the bathroom you have to ask for the bathroom key”
“The recent negative reviews for this place surprised me. I'm not disputing their experiences but my family has had nothing but positive experiences at Breaktime on Smiley. The employees are always hard at work, but stop what they're doing to help customers. When I'm in the store I see them consistently greeting customers even though most of the time they are ignored. The store is always clean, which is an impressive feat considering the constant stream of customers. There's one employee whose name I wish I knew but she's always so nice and personable, and I always see her helping new employees, must be a manager. If not she probably should be.
I've done a lot of jobs from fast food to factory work and none took it out of me like working at a gas station. You're basically cashier, janitor, stocker, inventory specialist, security guard, bartender and counselor all at the same time. And customer after customer either talks down to you, or completely ignores you because they won't get off their phone long enough to pay for their stuff. I can't count the number of times a customer would come up to the register while on their phone, and silently mouth what they wanted or point at it so they wouldn't have to interrupt their call. Cashiers have to eat it all day so if you have a rude cashier, maybe just eat it for once instead of putting working people on blast.”

“Ad a long term resident in this area (I graduated from Hallsville High School in 1984}, I would like to say this store has a variety of things, you can get fresh hot food and fountain soda, candy, the usual things, gas and oil. There restroom is clean and the store appears clean too. The staff has been polite when I have stopped by the store. They have a few people that have worked their long term but they don't seem to keep other staff very long. I do love this community!”
