“My new favorite moment of zen! This nursery/ gift boutique is truly an enchanting escape. The shop is gorgeously filled with unique gifts and a huge assortment of decorative pottery. It is an actual experience exploring the unique array of both indoor and outdoor plants guided by a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I went in looking for a specific elusive succulent called an epiphyllum curly sue or an orchid cactus. She was able to find it at the farm and got it to me the same day! I may actually have to resist becoming a regular visitor unless I intend to build a greenhouse in my yard. The owners passion is contagious! Highly recommend adding this stop to your list for your next day off.”

“This is my favorite nursery in the city! The down to earth customer service can’t be beat. I’m a 1st time home owner & I had big dreams for beautifying my from yard. I purchased an Etsy garden plan & took it up to Hartke to gather my plants. Eloise & Don (dynamic duo) took some time with me. Eloise designed placement & Don had the knowledge of every plant. After 2 weeks I got it done. It was hard work but so satisfying.”

“To call Boxwood Farms a nursery is to undersell this business. To call it a contemporary high end garden store would be a better description. Very tasteful pots, outdoor decorations as well as a good selection of exotic and outdoor plants would be more accurate. We did not try the restaurant which looks like it could be good.”
“We have used Schmittel's for the majority of our landscape needs at our house built 2 years ago. Scott is very knowledgeable about landscaping and how to use different plants to create the look we wanted. The installation crew is very friendly, courteous and knowable about how to care for the plants. They cleaned up our yard, driveway and street of all debris. They carry quality plants and stand behind their warranty.”

“Yesterday I went into Home Depot and I must admit I walked in with an attitude air went out a friend recommended I go find this item called attic air just for temporary solution until air is repaired and I had the pleasure of getting an assistant by the name of kash and when I say I had to humble myself and be pleasant because of the energy that this young lady gave off was completely amazing. She helped me find my item took me to it and helped load them in my cart any other associate would have just pointed in the direction and left u to fin for yourself. “I've used their sod for 20 years. The greatest part is that it comes rolled. You take off the pallet and unroll. Other places comes unrolled and it's un handy. It's thick and consistent. Don't look anywhere else. Follow proper watering and you will have perfect grass.”
