“I have been a little reluctant to post a review on this hidden treasure because it seems like once people hear about a great place, it becomes too popular and overcrowded.
It's important to differentiate The Hiawasse Store from the Hiawasse Diner. They are completely different places, both in service and food.
Hiawasse Store has great homemade hamburgers and large servings of food. The employees are all friendly and my wife and I have never had a bad experience there. Our favorite server, I believe her name is Kayla, is super helpful and goes above and beyond.
This is a down to earth hamburger/gas station with live music on the patio on specific nights.
I highly recommend the Thursday meatloaf special and any burger with fried green tomatoes and onion thangs.

There are two things that are not real in this world nor will they ever be; Unicorns and a man that can aim when we pee. It’s just not possible!

“As a regular to this store, I find the staff exceptional and this visit was no exception. Enoch was very attentive and generally a nice person to interact with. However, my last pizza order was less than stellar, the cook that night, Brittany, forgot to make my order. The order had an hour lead time and when I got there she was standing at the register playing on her phone and mentioned that she was busy STALKING someone and forgot to make my order. I had to wait another half hour to get my order.”

“Always get my fuel at Walmart fuel. Their prices are always the cheapest never ever had issues with engine or anything like that which usually you can get from faulty fuel I trust is fuel that there's no water or condensation in their tanks they are an extremely busy station a lot of time you have to wait to pull up to a pump very popular highly recommend them”
