“This place is always amazing to shop in and grab a nice meal from the iron skillet. Every visit all the employees in the area will ask in need help finding things and are genuinely nice. The best part if the parking is free with over 450 spots. I can't seem to go here without spending alot as this place has custom items for semi trucks as well as here and there daily items you need. You have to stop here if you haven't you will shop for hours.”
“It's probably one of the cheaper options for gas in Joplin. Especially driving through I44. Just expect long lines in the afternoon and especially the weekend. There are no lines in the morning when they first open up.”

“We take a lot of road trips. This was possibly the cleanest bathroom (other than Bucky’s) that I have ever stopped at a gas station. The bathroom even smelled of cleaning supplies and had a list on the door of all the cleaning they do every 2 hours. Cheap gas too.”

“This place was designed to make middle Eastern Fellas feel at home and yet they find a reason to complain. This place is actually quite dandy except the bathroom. Middle Eastern Fellas wash there feet in the sink and water is EVERYWHERE. I definitely would NOT bring my children here. The ranger across the road is new and not a lot of foot washing happens there. I come here for the garlic naan, and delicious butter chicken .. them power walk to the ranger to make a proper duker!!!!”
“Red Apple Mart is the cleanest most sanitary convenience store in Joplin... well in fact it's the most clean convenience store I've ever been in. You will agree once you go there. The ownership is top-notch and their employees are super friendly. They also offer the cheapest gasoline in town (just compare for yourself). It is a well run business that cares about it's customers and reputation.”

“Hello, I’ve been trucking off and on for 30 years. I did a 34 reset here in Joplin this weekend at the Flying J / Pilot. Had the truck washed as well. This is how the flying J used to be. Very clean everyone was very pleasant to do business with. The truck wash. Did a very good job.. I would recommend this truck stop. Denny’s had great food. Luandry machines that actually work. Was given quarters with any one being rude or complaining. Makes me miss the good Old days.👍😁.

“I highly recommend Eagle Stop/Connex to anyone traveling through the area — especially families, seniors, and wheelchair users looking for a clean and truly ADA accessible gas station and convenience store.
My mom is in a wheelchair, so accessibility is extremely important to us, and this location exceeded expectations. The entrance was easy to navigate, the station was very clean, and the restroom was spacious and wheelchair accessible — something that is honestly hard to find while traveling.
Tan, the employee behind the counter, was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. He answered all of my questions about the area and even gave me a copy of the Big Nickel Paper. Even while helping customers nonstop, he stayed busy stocking shelves, cleaning windows, and keeping the station looking great. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it absolutely shows.

“I made a trip to Iowa and have never stopped at the Maverik chain of gas stations, I have to admit im a loyal customer of Pete's because the bathrooms are clean and I love there fresh tea, The Maverik I stopped at had an icey Machine that had a white pina colada flavored icey, like pineapple and coconut, it didn't matter that day it was n so hot and while I was gassing up I was sipping away , before I finished filling my tank I had sipped all the Pina Colada treat away, I went back in and paid for a refill and a second for the road. There tea was also amazingly fresh and tasted like Cains tea, bold but not overpowering. I was a happy traveler, I will be driving out of my way occasionally to see if these branches hook me up with Pina Colada icey too. The cherry is good, but the pina colada takes you to a different zone. Want more”
“It's the closest gas station to my house. I wish they would stay open a little later on weekdays, and come down on gas prices, besides that it's a solid convenient store.”

“Been coming here for years. The other comments are just people that rate everything 1 star and complain about everything. The cashiers are really cool very polite, there's tons of FREE truck parking. No one will bother you , they have a modest amount of beer, drinks , waters , and snacks. They also have a subway and ill vouch for the food quality. Cheap diesel and they have very a generous rewards system. In a month of fueling I had over $50 dollars.”

The gas prices are always one of the lowest in town! Their pricing is better than most gas station on their items as well. Can we talk about the manager and cashiers though? “It was busy at about 8:00 in the morning, and I still found parking in front of the store.
I learned that a slice of breakfast pizza, a medium soft drink, and a jelly filled donut is exactly $7.00 after tax. Which is just fun.
All my visits are pretty much the same: friendly workers, yummy food, and a relatively clean convenience store atmosphere!”
