Dollar General in Kansas City offers everyday essentials at affordable prices. The store provides low prices on frequently-needed items including food, snacks, health and beauty aids, cleaning supplies, basic apparel, housewares, seasonal items, and paper products from trusted brands and high-quality private labels. Customers can save even more with the myDG program. The staff is described as amazing, helpful, and going above and beyond. While the inventory may not always be fully stocked on the shelves, the store is said to have amazing deals, and the manager is noted as being really nice. The store selection is good, and the checkout is relatively quick, though the organization of items could be improved.
This store is always stocked well. It's the best Dollar general I have been to in a while. Nowadays it's hard to find a well stocked and staffed neighborhood grocery store where the employees don't curse at each other and smell like weed. I bypass several stores just to get to this one because of the good experience.
