Hours change with the seasons, so check their Facebook to see when they're open. I got a thornless blackberry there a few years ago, it had been prolific, easy to care for, and the kids love it.”

“Absolutely Fantastic! Will highly recommend and continue to take my vehicles to Sallas for service and repair! Paul gave me updates every step of the inspection and repair process. The online inspection they share has pictures of the issues they find and allowed me to approve instantly of the repairs I wanted done now while keeping a record of items that will need service/repair in the future. ZERO pressure to do repairs/service I was unable to complete this trip or didn't feel I needed! Paul and the Service Tech answered my questions by walking me around my truck and showing me the issues along with their thoughts and recommendations. The whole experience was stress free and pleasant! From the young lady I spoke with on the phone, to the Service Techs and the Service Reps, everyone was very polite and smiling. Thank you Sallas! “This is one of my favorite places in Kansas City. Bulk spices, (unique ones at that!), flower seeds, feed for animals, gift sets for everyone in the family, and gorgeous flowers in the spring, summer and fall! They have fun trinkets and things you can actually use for your yard or farm and it's all located in a delightful old building with wood floors that still creak and the architecture is absolutely marvelous to look at while shopping! Please pick up some of their dip mixes- they are awesome for chips/ veggies or even just to marinate with! Have fun!”

The employees are so friendly, are always eager to help, and there are so many great items there for your indoor and outdoor animals. “I came to homestead to just get some ideas for supplies that may be needed for our business in the near future. I was greeted by the nicest employee in the parking lot who directed me in every direction I should be going for certain items I was looking into. Not only was he friendly & very informative, but he was educated on my items of interest & informative with the products. He maintained a professionalism composure that seemed genuinely caring & did so with a smile on his face his entire time. Customer service is lacking in so many businesses & so many people do not compliment the positives but rather quick to complain about anything or find a negative. I will certainly be coming back to homestead when our business is ready to invest in the products we need. The customer service is hard to find & this gentleman made my day. I believe he said his name was Mike or Michael Couch or Cook , I apologize if I butchered the gentleman's name. But I want Homestead to know it's because of him that primary helped me make the decision on who to use for supplies for our upcoming projects. Homesteads employee customer service made Lowes & Home Depots customer service seem very low in ratings when i compared the service i was provided. After Homestead my decision was made. I had a choice of doing a virtual measure of my windows with a rep from Rockwood or having someone come to my home. I chose virtual. Skeptical but WOW. Candy Armer from Rockwood was awesome. Together, we got it done with little effort and she got me an estimate. Next, I got an email from a member of Rockwood's Concierge team. They informed me that they were there for me throughout the process. They made arrangements for the final measure. The installer came and was terrific. We went over all the details, how the shutters would be mounted, open, close. My windows can be tilted in and cleaned top and bottom -- all accounted for. A date was set for installation, Doug came, installed them AS SCHEDULED. NO DRAMA and I L O V E this product. They are gorgeous! I highly recommend both Home Depot and Rockwood. Home Depot has the BEST payment plans to you can pay over time. I've done it many times and had great success. Rockwood exceeded my expectations multiple times.”

“My partner and I rented the Rosehill Gardens event space for our spring wedding. Rosehill Gardens is an incredible, intimate venue that we feel so lucky to have found. The event coordinator was extremely professional and a huge help. He actually staged two separate ceremony areas for us to choose from, and single-handedly made sure that the area we picked had everything we asked for. We ended up not having to rent any equipment or decor at all, because Rosehill went above and beyond to provide everything we needed. I can't recommend them highly enough for a garden wedding.Service: Weddings”

“The home depot took my return fairly quickly, there wasn't a long line. Everyone tried their best to be helpful. I spotted some dying plants and wondered if I could take them, and the staff were very professional in saying no. Apparently both she and I would get in trouble if I would take something like that. Two of their tools aisles are under construction (?) or it seemed like it was blocked off for some reason. I remember once I came in here looking for an extra large box, and they actually let me take it as well. Overall would recommend this Home Depot location.”

“I stopped into HD yesterday afternoon (5/17/23) to get some pavers. I asked for assistance but everyone was pretty busy. I got impatient and was moderately rude to one of the managers, Mitch. Eventually- an employee (I wish I would've caught his name- he was SO kind and helpful) came to assist me. Mitch also came out to help- even though he didn't have to and I wasn't the nicest to him initially. Admittedly I was having a rough day and I think Mitch could sense that my anger wasn't directed towards him. Regardless- he went above and beyond to load all my pavers, make sure I was doing ok and knew that everyone has bad days and that tomorrow would be better. I wanted to write this review for the people who helped me yesterday. They deserve recognition. They deserve the good review. I hope they see this and know that I am grateful for how kind and gracious they were with me yesterday when I wasn't at my best.”

They helped me find everything I needed for my DIY project and gave me some useful tips.
