“I want to preface this by saying this place is a lil piece of heaven.. Everything about it.. The seed options, the spices, the building itself, the creaking floors.. I was in my Happy Place..
Sadly, The Staff what was there the day I went made everything else miserable.. I asked a question, I got looked at like I was a bother.. Not one person said Hello.. All 3 were rude and ruined my first experience in the Store.. I originally came in for a few Spices.. We wanted to look around a bit more but decided to just Check Out and leave..
I was so excited to go in there that day.. Husband even drove 45 mins out of the way so he could take me.. Staff is EVERYTHING..”
“Soil Service is such a gem! I stopped by one day for a relaxing stroll around the beautiful grounds and now it’s my go-to for both garden goods and a dose of joy. Soil Service has an incredible selection, great prices, and a generous rewards program. Both the nursery and garden center feature spacious layouts, beautiful landscaping, and creative displays. I particularly love their extensive selection of native perennials, the porch geese and accessories, and Fancy the shop cat (aka the boss!). The whole staff is friendly, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They’re eager to swap stories, share photos, and answer questions (and offer a punny joke!). They’re helpful and approachable, and so enthusiastic. I always leave feeling inspired, cheerful, and cared for. Genuine care and personal connections build community, and the Soil Service team excels at both. Highly recommend!

“It is incredibly difficult to find a truly good florist who doesn't resort to using weeds and cheap containers that are eyesores when creating arrangements. I wanted something far more upscale and that is exactly what was delivered. The event was most important as my best friend of many decades lost her mother. It was vital she had beautiful flowers in Kansas City when she arrived for her mother's memorial. I cannot thank Beco Flowers enough for the utter quality and first impression that was delivered. In addition, communication was superb! There is a reason this florist has a five star rating and I would give them 20 if I could. Well done and thank you ever so much.”
“Amazing hidden gem with a lovely husband and wife owners. They are growing a ton of various plants and using various techniques to do so. Using as much resources they can harvest to put back into their crops. Looking forward to taking some of their classes to be more educated in urban homesteading”
“I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff are, from Crossroads to Morningside! Last week I stopped by the Crossroads location and the lady working was so helpful in showing me what different options I could choose from for a bouquet making party I was going to. I also mentioned that a plant I purchased from Verdant a few months ago had started leaning a bit and I needed some help with repotting it. I told her I'd be near the Morningside location the following week, so she went out of her way to check who would be working the day I had planned to stop in so I'd have someone there to help me!
That led me to Erica (if I remember her name correctly)! She was extremely helpful and informative, and answered all my questions on how to better care for my plant.
Another sweet lady at Morningside (I didn’t get her name, but she has the cutest little clog shoes) is always so intentional and makes every part of the experience feel special. They even gave me some beautiful sunflowers to take home and wrapped them in their tissue and ribbon!
Every time I stop into either location, I know I’ll be greeted like I’m their most valuable customer. Everyone is always so kind and intentional, and I can't help but keep coming back because of it!”

“Rosehill Gardens did an absolute 5-star job transforming our backyard. They installed a stunning paver patio, a sunken gas fire pit, a water feature, and complete landscaping with bushes, shrubs, and large trees along the back, raised bed garden as well as landscaping, sod in the front and irrigation. They also worked seamlessly with our pool company Icon Pools, and coordinated the work scope very well in a very tight area.
A huge thank-you to our project manager, Tom, who was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was proactive, highly attentive, always answered our calls, and brought quick solutions whenever potential issues arose.

“I visited in early June. The plants all looked to be in great shape, minus a few smaller perennials. I was able to find pavers I'd been looking for and mulch on a steep discount. The bees happily buzzing around was an added bonus!”
“Had a capacitor got out on my air conditioner. Was able to schedule a person to come out same day which was great because it was 95 degrees outside. Hamilton Plumbing Heating and Cooling came out. Tech Luis was fantastic, very personable, and went above a beyond by cleaning the outside unit as well. Was a little pricey but for same day and excellent service, it was worth it.”
“I purchased Rockwood shutters from Home Depot. The sales people were nice, helpful. I had a choice of doing a virtual measure of my windows with a rep from Rockwood or having someone come to my home. I chose virtual. Skeptical but WOW. Candy Armer from Rockwood was awesome. Together, we got it done with little effort and she got me an estimate. Next, I got an email from a member of Rockwood's Concierge team. They informed me that they were there for me throughout the process. They made arrangements for the final measure. The installer came and was terrific. We went over all the details, how the shutters would be mounted, open, close. My windows can be tilted in and cleaned top and bottom -- all accounted for. A date was set for installation, Doug came, installed them AS SCHEDULED. NO DRAMA and I L O V E this product. They are gorgeous! I highly recommend both Home Depot and Rockwood. Home Depot has the BEST payment plans to you can pay over time. I've done it many times and had great success. Rockwood exceeded my expectations multiple times.”

“We had to replace all the blinds in our town home and we really had no idea what we were doing. We made about several trips to the store after we confirmed our measurements. They have a gentleman that help folks with blinds there and without him, we would have been lost. His name is Brent and if you ever need to buy blinds there, be sure to ask for him.”
“I rented a side cutter from here. It worked extremely well. They take great care of their equipment. The check-in and checkout process was seamless and they help me negotiate the best deal for the time that we spent. I highly recommend them!”
“The home depot took my return fairly quickly, there wasn't a long line. Everyone tried their best to be helpful. I spotted some dying plants and wondered if I could take them, and the staff were very professional in saying no. Apparently both she and I would get in trouble if I would take something like that. Two of their tools aisles are under construction (?) or it seemed like it was blocked off for some reason. I remember once I came in here looking for an extra large box, and they actually let me take it as well. Overall would recommend this Home Depot location.”

“Can I double this 5/5 score to 10/10? I had to come in today after losing power during a storm. My house temp was rising and I came to this location because online it showed some limited stock of a Ryobi fan I needed. I stopped an employee named Scott, who walked me to the place where I could find the fan, only to realize there was no stock left there. He walked me all over the store to find one the system said they had. He and and a few other employees brought it down from a pallet on the top rack, and didn't make it feel/sound like I was inconveniencing them. A small moment in their day made a HUGE difference in mine. My family and I are comfortably home with the fan. Gentry was also a very helpful staff member at checkout who answered my questions about the battery systems. All around great experience!”
