“I want to preface this by saying this place is a lil piece of heaven.. Everything about it.. The seed options, the spices, the building itself, the creaking floors.. I was in my Happy Place.. Sadly, The Staff what was there the day I went made everything else miserable.. I asked a question, I got looked at like I was a bother.. Not one person said Hello.. All 3 were rude and ruined my first experience in the Store.. I originally came in for a few Spices.. We wanted to look around a bit more but decided to just Check Out and leave.. I was so excited to go in there that day.. Husband even drove 45 mins out of the way so he could take me.. Staff is EVERYTHING..”

“Nice and helpful team usually. My most recent trip a male employee was to busy looking at his phone to notice anyone around him, but that is the only time that has happened, usually they are helpful when asked. Prices are way high on alot of items but conveniently close to home.”

“I took in an old broken lamp today hoping they’d be able to help. I expected to have to leave it and for it to be expensive but they repaired it in minutes and it was very affordable. I was so impressed and grateful for the amazing service and friendly staff. Highly recommend for lamp repair!”

“I been watching videos and have family nearby managed to get to catch the Saturday pancakes day! Didn't have any pancakes with my purchase, but was allowed to free roam the basement without supervision! Being a tool nut my nuttiness went crazy. If you are a tool nut this is a must In Kansas City! I would love to stayed longer and listen to more stories. If you want to decorate your shop, garage or home. This is a good place to start and you can pickup some tools to help with the remodel. Now to plan my next trip to explore the madness of Harry J Epstein a hand tools store!”

“I ordered a huge workbench. When putting it together at home, the product was missing several screws. I went in and the staff was very helpful and got me the missing screws. I discovered I miscounted and had to get 2 more screws which was embarrassing. No, I didn’t lose screws, they were just short 5 screws and bolts. I had to go back again and get the missing screws. I was able to finish putting the desk together. The staff were very helpful and kind. They didn’t act like I was an inconvenience. They made a very frustrating situation so much better. It’s this kind of situation that will make me come back to this store.”

“7-21-2026: Given the location of it, the employees are very nice and polite and helpful. They've got a decent selection of merchandise and they keep it rather clean and tidy. The only thing is dislike is they're rather expensive compared to Lowe's and Home Depot”

“Big shoutout to Anthony who saved Mother’s Day for me. I went to SEVEN hardware stores this morning between Belton & Prairie Village. I called EUSTON as my last ditch effort to find the part I needed. Anthony was so kind on the phone despite me being frantic & physically laid eyes on the part to ensure it was right, then had it waiting for me when I arrived to the store 15 minutes later. I’ll be making the drive here for hardware moving forward! THANK YOU ANTHONY!”

“Geared to the DIYer, the merchandise isn’t all pro quality, but priced to sell! Very responsive and kind staff. Not a busy location where other retailers have closed—apparently due to little area traffic. (I like combining a Target run with an HF tools run. Target is right across the street.)”

“I have been to this location several times and the staff is always so helpful, genuinely help me and make sure I get what I need. A bonus they are kind to my children I have in tow! They are also fast at checkout, which for some reason seems slow at all other hardware stores?? 5 stars here!”

“Wow, great service. About a month ago, I went in looking for some plants and vegetables. Charles, the manager, took 30 minutes to talk to me about planting and spacing, the time of year for certain plants, location, and sunlight. He took a lot of time to help me and I truly appreciate it. Wonderful service.”

“When I call on a Saturday. I understand its short staffed no problem, but to have to hit option (0) to stay on hold every 10 seconds or get hung up on is ridiculous. Im trying to work myself, not hit a button. IVR/automated call system needs adjustment.”

“Had a capacitor got out on my air conditioner. Was able to schedule a person to come out same day which was great because it was 95 degrees outside. Hamilton Plumbing Heating and Cooling came out. Tech Luis was fantastic, very personable, and went above a beyond by cleaning the outside unit as well. Was a little pricey but for same day and excellent service, it was worth it.”

They have a gentleman that help folks with blinds there and without him, we would have been lost. His name is Brent and if you ever need to buy blinds there, be sure to ask for him.”
