“LOVE that they are dog-friendly! Several dog walking areas with trash cans and poop bags. Super friendly service. The room was modern, clean, and had a small refrigerator and microwave. The mattress was firm, but the pillows were a bit too soft for my preference. There's a Nespresso machine available in the lobby. A fitness room, pool, and business center are available along with free breakfast and parking. Very different from the Best Westerns I remember years ago!”

“The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The service was great! The pool was warm and great for a swim! The breakfast was good (toast, waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, and sausage) coffee and hot water to make tea or hot chocolate which is great for not coffee drinkers like me and my mom. The price is cheap and close to where we needed to go.”

“Absolutely awful. It's literally just a place to sleep. If you want to shower, you'd be better off having someone dump a water bottle on you. The water pressure is nonexistent, and everything is outdated. I wouldn't even recommend this to a homeless person, because they'd be disappointed as well I'm sure.Rooms: Everything is out dated, remote didn't work for the tv, and there was no water pressure when i tried to shower.”
“My husband and I are so grateful we chose the Browning Guest House for our overnight in Lee’s Summit. We took Amtrak so were without a car. The location can’t be beat for walking or biking to the numerous shops and restaurants in the historic core.The bed was fabulous! Both my husband and I had a great sleep.Finally, breakfast was an experience to be remembered. When choosing the Browning we had no idea that in an earlier career, our hostess was a chef and caterer for famous musicians and other glitterati.We are still in awe over the gluten-free biscuits and cashew gravy she created.Thank you, Cynthia & Kevin! We loved our time at the Browning and with you.”
