I decided to build a pond in my backyard. I spoke to Joe, the owner, and the store manager. Both of them took an abundance of time explaining and showing me how to proceed. Their time, patience, and knowledge were immeasurable.

I love going here just to relax and enjoy the beautiful plants and relaxing water sounds. The young people who work here are the most helpful and friendly employees I’ve encountered anywhere. Jordan, the new manager, is hands-down the kindest - as well as an extremely knowledgeable man.

Chalily is a home and garden store selling beauty. Celebrating Water in the Garden. Joe Summers is co-owner and has 25 years of experience in the pond field. Joe is a Horticulturist by training but developed a love for water gardens while working at Missouri Botanical Garden. His focus at the Garden was the giant Victoria Water Lilies. His studies took him to the Amazon Rainforest and even produced the only hybrid Victoria in Missouri Botanical Garden history; aptly he named it Victoria ‘Adventure’.
