“I had been to 3 nurseries looking for Fire Chief arborvitae and burgundy barberry that can handle part shade. I struck out everywhere until I came to Sherwood's Forest. Within 5 min I had a full cart and am thrilled with my purchases. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. Update: I've been back twice today already and came home with 3 trees I'm really excited about finding (and totally missed yesterday). I haven't seen this tree at any other nursery, even substantially larger ones I've visited recently. Sherwood's Forest will be my first stop from now on because of the unique varieties they carry!”

I purchased an Etsy garden plan & took it up to Hartke to gather my plants. Eloise & Don (dynamic duo) took some time with me. Eloise designed placement & Don had the knowledge of every plant. After 2 weeks I got it done. It was hard work but so satisfying.”

Scott is very knowledgeable about landscaping and how to use different plants to create the look we wanted. The installation crew is very friendly, courteous and knowable about how to care for the plants. They cleaned up our yard, driveway and street of all debris. “My new favorite moment of zen! This nursery/ gift boutique is truly an enchanting escape. The shop is gorgeously filled with unique gifts and a huge assortment of decorative pottery. It is an actual experience exploring the unique array of both indoor and outdoor plants guided by a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I went in looking for a specific elusive succulent called an epiphyllum curly sue or an orchid cactus. She was able to find it at the farm and got it to me the same day! I may actually have to resist becoming a regular visitor unless I intend to build a greenhouse in my yard. The owners passion is contagious! Highly recommend adding this stop to your list for your next day off.”

“This place is really cool. The only thing it is missing is an actual restaurant with outdoor seating. The vibe reminds me of a restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, FL called The Garlic, where there is indoor outdoor seating, and it's super unique. It's such a secluded spot with so much greenery. A restaurant that fits the theme of the map would be perfect. Or even have a food truck festival with outdoor seating”

“I had 6 yards of garden soil delivered Saturday, 7/30/22. Due to soft ground conditions the driver could not access as close as I wanted to the dump site. However, he tried several times but the ground was too soft to get in the exact location. Due to utility wires overhead he could not get the dump fully elevated to dump the entire load. However, Darren made the extra effort to shovel out the dirt that would not dump. This is SERVICE above and beyond and kudos to Darren and Kurtz Nursery. The garden soil was perfect as well.”

“We came here this weekend with our toddlers for the kids workshop. Its a free workshop, lasts all morning and is so much fun. We tried it when kids were barely 2 and they did not have much interest, they are almost 3 now and very into it. We built Home Depot trucks and it was so much fun! They did miss 1 component that was mentioned in the kit- the glue and one of the parts could really use it, we glued it at home and kids love their trucks. We will be back!”
