The entrance show cases quite a few plants and fertilizer options for above and in ground plant beds, but there's more magic inside! “OK Hatchery is more than A-OK !!! & a whole lot more. Been going there for 35 years for whenever I needed that weird, or rare or specialized tool, gadget or gizmo that just can’t be found anywhere else. Plan to stay longer as the store… inside + out is like a walk back in time, decades ago in fact. It’s like a museum, a store from the TV “Andy Griffith Show” decades past. You’ll find items for your Garden, Garage, Kitchen, Basement, Bath, Pets + more. They maybe have more stuff than even Amazon.com …. well maybe not but lotta items you’ll not find online. Plan to linger when you go to browse all aisles, levels & outside too.”
“Needed a gas powered leaf blower. Had a Stihl on sale that I was looking at. Was in and out within 20-25 minutes. John was very helpful and professional. Will definitely be back for more lawn equipment.”

“I was shopping at the Home Depot in Manchester MO went my sugars dropped at the self check out. I would like to give thanks to Mary and Zach for assisting me. I didn't have my glucose tablets with me to bring up my sugar level. Mary got a sucker from another employee and Zach give me a sprite. Mary made me a seat to sit down and she kept checking on me. She would not allow me to leave the store until my a1c was over 70. I wanted management to know how appreciative I am of those two employees.”

“Wondered about this store due to the location and nick neck shop, yet if you are a gardener, you should find what plants you need. Also surprised of the price, quite reasonable. Once I get my lettuce in , I'll go back and get more plants. My mom would have loved this shop, I mean nursery.”
“We were in town to see a movie and decided to stop here and see if they had a few things I was going to grab tomorrow at my local Lowe’s. Conveniently not only did they have what I needed, but the shopping experience was far better than that of our local Lowe’s. There were plenty of associates HAPPY to help ! MORE than enough checkouts open! A good selection, well organized store , and very clean. A lot of parking and curb side pickup. Honestly wish we lived closer as this would be my go to option for DIY projects , this stop saved me time and my sanity that I would have otherwise lost going to the Lowe’s nearby our house.”

Excellent job on prepping my lawnmower for the season! I'm now 3 or 4 cuts in and my self-propelled lawnmower is functioning better than ever. Service included oil change, air filter, sparkplug, cable replacement, and blade sharpened.

“Great nursery! Very knowledgeable staff! I needed help with a couple of boxwoods with browning leaves. The young man I spoke with inspected the samples I brought in, immediately diagnosed the problem and suggested a treatment plan. Definitely recommend this nursery.”

“Had 4 yards of “raised bed garden soil” delivered on 8/27/25. Great blend of 5 items. Overall I am very pleased with this product. My only concerns are that there were a bit too many large clods of clay and black gold compost. I tossed out the clay and manually pulverized the compost. There were a few fist sized rocks in it…but only a few. If they have a way to better pulverize the clay and the compost they should do it. Again overall I am very pleased…beautiful soil. Bonus… they charged about $50 less than everyone else for the delivery fee….only $105. Perfectly delivered within the 2 hour window as promised.”
