The entrance show cases quite a few plants and fertilizer options for above and in ground plant beds, but there's more magic inside! Nancy looked at pictures of my yard and and let me talk about my current garden situation and goals. As we discussed everything from space and soil to sunlight, she drafted a plan for my yard with short and long term suggestions. It was a great feeling to know that I could ask her anything!

“I absolutely love this nursery. I find the most awesome tropical trees for my patio. I purchased this Powder Puff Tree this spring. It resembles a mimosa tree. The leaves react to touch and they close up at night just like a mimosa. The branches are different because they weep like a willow tree. They won't withstand the cold so you must bring them inside for winter”
“I love this nursery .they always have the things I need and the lady behind the counter is always very nice I feel like he on a farm when u go there I just like the looks of the place they have cute things to by like bird houses e.t.c.keep up the good work and God bless.”
“We were in town to see a movie and decided to stop here and see if they had a few things I was going to grab tomorrow at my local Lowe’s. Conveniently not only did they have what I needed, but the shopping experience was far better than that of our local Lowe’s. There were plenty of associates HAPPY to help ! MORE than enough checkouts open! A good selection, well organized store , and very clean. A lot of parking and curb side pickup. Honestly wish we lived closer as this would be my go to option for DIY projects , this stop saved me time and my sanity that I would have otherwise lost going to the Lowe’s nearby our house.”

“The staff was super friendly, and even helped me load the soil onto the flat bed cart with me. After I was done checking out, there was a younger lady in the garden area who was told to go on break, and offered to help load the soil in the truck with me, since the guys that usually do it weren't around. I didn't want her to have to go to work while on her break, but she insisted. That kind of work is hard to come by.
Then the guy that usually does it, finally comes out of hiding, and the girl asks him to help. He says yes and even pushes the heavy cart for me to where I parked and loaded it into the truck with me.
I was very impressed with how everyone was working together. That is what I call true teamwork.
I will definitely be coming back to this location.”

(It did help that I had my dog with me :) however, they were very kind and respectful of my dog who is still learning how to interact with the general public. My dog got a few treats. Chatted with a worker named Alicia who was very sweet and made me feel welcome. Thankful for kind people!”
“Great nursery! Very knowledgeable staff! I needed help with a couple of boxwoods with browning leaves. The young man I spoke with inspected the samples I brought in, immediately diagnosed the problem and suggested a treatment plan. Definitely recommend this nursery.”
“Had 4 yards of “raised bed garden soil” delivered on 8/27/25. Great blend of 5 items. Overall I am very pleased with this product. My only concerns are that there were a bit too many large clods of clay and black gold compost. I tossed out the clay and manually pulverized the compost. There were a few fist sized rocks in it…but only a few. If they have a way to better pulverize the clay and the compost they should do it. Again overall I am very pleased…beautiful soil. Bonus… they charged about $50 less than everyone else for the delivery fee….only $105. Perfectly delivered within the 2 hour window as promised.”

“I was in the garden center the morning of Friday May 24th. I wish I would have gotten the name of the women who was working as cashier. She was an absolute delight. She was chatting away with customers, while answering questions, and even cheering on the young men who were helping to load up. She seriously should be the manager. What an asset.”

“Awesome trucks easily to drive . Simple process in and out in five minutes. Vehicles are really clean inside and out . Also, it was full of gas . Guys working the counter were super friendly. I will definitely use the Ellisville facilities again .”
“it doesn't seem to matter which home Depot you go to anymore, you'll pretty much have the same experience at all of them. helpful friendly staff who are quite knowledgeable. always have a great selection and great prices. I had the misfortune of having to go to a Lowe's and it simply reaffirmed how much I enjoy home Depot”
