“Our salesman, Shane Rollins, was very patient & polite to us old people, gave us all the time and information even repeating info until we could choose our 2 chairs, fabric, color and select the right padding. There was no high pressure sales or fast talk. Being respectful to Shane because he was so personable, we told him if he got a call, to take it. We were impressed with him, the Lay-Z-Boy product, were buying and not going anywhere!
We were looking for 1 chair, bought 2 and will return soon for another Lay-Z-Boy loveseat. The two we had got LOTS of use, were about 15 years old and deserved their retirement.

“Over the past 2 weeks we have made 3 trips to Schubert and spent about 7 hours working with Kirsten Wyman. It has been a spectacular experience. We had bought a headboard years ago from Schubert but had never gone back. Out of the blue we got a flyer in the mail announcing Schubert was having a sale on Stickley furniture. We are getting ready to move and wanted new things.

Kirsten was fabulous. She took our floor plans and styled and arranged different pieces for us. She saved us a significant amount of money by pointing out that we would not have safe clearance in the primary bedroom if we bought the Highlands Master Chest and Master Dresser. We did end up adding in a bench and we are so excited to see it all come together. I am in love with the upholstery fabric on the bench and have styled the whole room around the colors.

We also purchased dining room and living room furniture. We never felt any pressure to exceed our budget and Kirsten spent a lot of time helping us match fabrics and leathers to coordinate with paint colors and rugs. Having a professional designer saved us a lot of future problems. We could have driven all over town or ordered furniture online but it would never have matched the quality of what we are getting from a historically important furniture maker sold by a store with it's own history and tradition. Thanks Kirsten. I think we might be back for next year's Stickley sale.”
