“Came in to get screws to mount a front license plate. I didn't really know what I was doing. The employee offered to help, and figured out what screws to use and did the installation for me in the parking lot. All for the cost of a couple screws. Top tier customer service.”
“I will NEVER shop at Home Depot or Lowe’s again unless I’m forced to for some reason. Schnars has 10/10 customer service. Let me tell you about my great experience.I needed a new weed eater so I walked into Schnars. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I believe is named Jacob. Not in an aggressive sales way, but more of a helpful greeting.I set my sight on what looked like a pretty good deal, but was kindly directed to an even better deal which would save me money and get me a blower, weed eater, and 2 batteries for a great price, which turned out to be an obvious choice. They threw in a free Echo hat just because they are nice . Honestly, I needed another hat, so I was happy.Turns out I forgot the second battery that came with the set. A few hours later I was SHOCKED to see that the same gentleman showed up to my door step just to personally deliver the battery to me. Who even gives such great customer service anymore?Anyway, I felt compelled to leave this review because I’ve now been there like 10 times and have had a great experience each time.”

Let me start by saying I was kind of nervous going into the store because I’ve been to niche stores that are not very approachable towards beginners because of the knowledge gap. Luckily that was the exact opposite experience I had when I visited. Thomas helped me out, answered all my questions, help me select all the right tools and seemed genuinely and deeply interesting in woodworking. As a result my experience benefited because of he was extremely patient, kind, knowledgeable and funny during our interaction. I can’t wait to go back and get more toys.”

“Most helpful, knowledgeable hardware store I have ever experienced. Shop there all the time and have been doing so for years. I can get in and out in a matter of a few minutes. Contrast that to big box stores where you can get your daily walking requirement in before you find what you need or before you can talk to an employee. And most big box employees are not very knowledgeable.”

“Just Around The Corner Wood Floors made the experience so much easier. Wayne Brooks did an excellent job consulting and educating me about the process and dividing the work into two different sections so it would be the least disruptive in my life. Mark, David, Jake, Brian, Dave, Ryan, Todd, and Jacob all worked on the floors for many days. Some of the wood panels had to be replaced. The workers went above and beyond , even putting out food and water for my pets because they knew I wouldn’t be there in the early morning. I would definitely hire them for work in the future!”

“We were in town to see a movie and decided to stop here and see if they had a few things I was going to grab tomorrow at my local Lowe’s. Conveniently not only did they have what I needed, but the shopping experience was far better than that of our local Lowe’s. There were plenty of associates HAPPY to help ! MORE than enough checkouts open! A good selection, well organized store , and very clean. A lot of parking and curb side pickup. Honestly wish we lived closer as this would be my go to option for DIY projects , this stop saved me time and my sanity that I would have otherwise lost going to the Lowe’s nearby our house.”
“The staff was super friendly, and even helped me load the soil onto the flat bed cart with me. After I was done checking out, there was a younger lady in the garden area who was told to go on break, and offered to help load the soil in the truck with me, since the guys that usually do it weren't around. I didn't want her to have to go to work while on her break, but she insisted. That kind of work is hard to come by.
Then the guy that usually does it, finally comes out of hiding, and the girl asks him to help. He says yes and even pushes the heavy cart for me to where I parked and loaded it into the truck with me.
I was very impressed with how everyone was working together. That is what I call true teamwork.
I will definitely be coming back to this location.”
“We intentionally drive out of our way to go to this hardware store...the cashiers are super friendly and actually work things around to save you money...just bought a battery operated Dewalt weed eater, leaf blower combo, saved $90 for being a rewards member and got to use $20 gift card that we picked up last visit...SCORE!!!!”

“Love this store! They had something delivered to me, from a somewhat far away store, and it was not a pricey item (meaning, they went to a lot of trouble for a low profit margin). Always so helpful, they sell Stihl products, and the Green Egg! Very happy they moved into our neighborhood!”
“Wentzville did not have the belts I needed to get in stock but the Bridgeton store did. I drove to Bridgeton to pick them up and the experience was great. They had one of the belts pulled and ready for me when I walked through the door. The other belt was stocked in the wrong spot but they eventually found it and all was good. I was in the store for maybe 10 minutes. The employees were very friendly, the store was very clean and organized. I will definitely return if need be....”
“Almost every worker I passed by today said hi and was very friendly. (It did help that I had my dog with me :) however, they were very kind and respectful of my dog who is still learning how to interact with the general public. My dog got a few treats. Chatted with a worker named Alicia who was very sweet and made me feel welcome. Thankful for kind people!”
“Truly, I am not joking when I say that menards is one of my top reasons for living in the Midwest. At this specific one, sometimes it's a bit hard to find somebody to help you, but not unreasonably so. Also, I really appreciate that menards stays out of politics unlike home depot.”

“I love Menards, they don’t have it in Alabama so I come every time I visit my daughter in St. Louis. I always find whatever I need. The staff is very helpful. One request is to get more than two mobility scooters. The populist is getting old. I had to not go to one two days ago because they only had one scooter and a lady literally came in after me and took it in front of me. Those of us that need it really need it.”
