“The folks here are SO SWEET! There were some issues getting me my package (I live a few hours away and ordered a special edition a few months in advance, PLUS i moved during the time between placing my order and it arriving) and they were incredibly patient and kind and proactive in getting me my book. Thank you to every one of y’all who called me to verify my address or to check with me about details. I really appreciate how helpful everyone was and how they were determined to get me my book! It arrived in perfect condition with a cute bookmark too! Thank you to The Novel Neighbor—I will definitely be checking out the store when I am next in the area :)”

“Overall, this was a great store. I did end up purchasing something from this store. Although it's not exactly what I wanted, I needed something and was short on time. So I'm going to have to make do with what I purchased. Staff was friendly at the register. There were 2 staff members wandering around the store. Neither one of them ever approached me and offered help.I will say that was kind of a downside to the store.”

“Half Price Books in Chesterfield is a treasure trove. The selection is massive I can always find something I love, from my favorite authors to new discoveries. The prices can’t be beat. I’m building out a full home library, and what would’ve cost me thousands elsewhere has only cost a fraction here. Just last week, I walked out with six great books for under $30!!. If you’re a reader, this place is a gold mine.”

“This is my go to book store for all the children in my life. I love that the bookstore is black owned and most of their books are by black authors. Their shipping is wicked fast. Their prices are extremely resonante. They have a loyal customer!”
“I freaking love this place and the attached Starbucks. Barnes + Noble is one of my favorite stores since they offer so much more than just regular books, and it’s so nice to escape into the big but cozy store after walking around the hectic mall. I love that they carry calico critters unlike the larger Fenton location, and I also love the studio ghibli items being sold recently. Workers are friendly and the atmosphere is always inviting!”
“Prices are a little high, so is the cost for the membership. Wish the Starbucks all could be used in the cafe.
Otherwise, it's a nice place to hang out & read while drinking a latte.”

“A smallish, carefully curated bookstore! A place to browse and discovery wonderful books. A perfect selection of children's books, local interest and nature-lover's titles. I found two books I'd never heard of, and could scarcely walk across the street to me car without starting to read! (There's a large, free, public parking lot in back, btw). What a great find in (downtown?) Webster Groves!!”

“I've shopped here since it's opening over 30 years ago. I always find a variety of beautiful jewelry and gifts, much which I still own and enjoy today. All the beautiful sterling silver rings and jewelry are in the glass cases, so if you briskly walk straight in the shop and straight out, you have missed ALL the beautiful jewelry throughout the shop! Ayala Bar, Roman Glass, genuine Butterfly from Peru, Kristina Collection, Silver Forest, DC, many more designers, plus a very large ring collection. The shop is owned and operated by the same owners who hand select all the jewelry and the staff are friendly and helpful. I always have an enjoyable shopping experience!”

“Going out of business in July 2024.A very large used media store with sections for video games, movies, TV shows, books, and manga along with many other interesting oddities, collectibles and toys.Generally pricing for most media is at market pricing, but has sales (buy two, get one free) that usually makes them a great value.However, the store was always a little bit cluttered, a little bit ramshackle, and rarely got enough new inventory of used items to make repeat visits worthwhile.Whether or not business was booming, they will close down in July 2024 due to the mall they're in being torn down.”

“Such a beautiful campus. My son is attending college prep classes here and their staff are just incredible. I hope he decides to study here after college. The university campus book shop is filled with every essential thing they could need being away from home and then some! The track and field are just gorgeous. The cafeteria is just beyond amazing!”
“Love this place so much for its vast amount of things to look at and purchase. A couple months ago a friend in my life lost a close dog to him that was a corgi, and his game plan for the mall was to find a plush toy that looks like him to comfort him. I immediately ran to this store and found all the corgis I could (which was a lot!) and he was thrilled to purchase a big cuddly one. I also have bought littlest pet shops and other collectables here before. The staff is so friendly!”
