“It's been over twelve years, I think it is easily time to update my review. To be honest, things really haven't changed that much, I still think Dr. Gardner is awesome and I like the fact that they also practice holistic medicine. The entire staff is passionate about what they do and you can see the love they have for their patients. I recently had a very sick boy and made frequent calls to their office and they had so much patience with me. In the end, I had to make the call and lead my boy across the Rainbow Bridge and they were so kind and showed so much compassion towards me. When anyone ask me for vet recommendations, Animal Health & Healing is the first one I tell them about. I now live in IL and make the drive so my dogs have the best care.”

“Only complaint, is the parking lot SUCKS. It's very limited. Get there early for a good spot!!!Aside from that I had a great experience. Everyone was professional and nice! The staff run it as smoothly as they can with the amount of people they see. They took very good care of my girl, and everything went very smoothly.”
“I’ve come to the vet here about 5 times since March 2023 with my 4 year old dachshund and my 2 year old mini dachshund. Great experience each time. I’ve also gotten them groomed here and that was a great experience as well. Convenient location and easy to walk to if you’re in the area. Highly recommend.”
“I LOVE the staff here! Everyone is so wonderful and kind and professional. My dog and I started coming here 2 years ago and his first visit he was very nervous, but bc of our vet and her amazing support staff, he is doing much better and his visits are much easier. They really care about their clients and do everything they can to make it an easy, and unintimidating experience for the pets! Even if I move away I won't go anywhere else!”
“We have been going to Millis Animal Hospital since they were located off of Hanley and Dale. We have always received great care for our pets there. Sad to say, curently we will no longer be going to them as we just put our dog to sleep. The doctor and staff were very kind and understanding, and let us have as much time with our dog as needed to say goodbye. I am forever grateful for many years of wonderful care for our pets.”

“I have a reactive dog who was sick. I was able to bring her in the same day to get checked out. Everyone in the clinic was very accommodating and understanding. The doctor and technician we worked with were clearly very knowledgeable about reactive dogs and knew what to do to make her feel comfortable. This was definitely the best experience we’ve had at the vet so far and my dog is 4 years old and I’ve had her since she was a puppy. Thank you for your excellent care!”

“Went to see Dr Chip yesterday as a new client. She got down on the floor with my rescue Bailey and petted and loved on her her throughout our visit, giving her a very thorough exam. When she gave Bailey her vaccine, she did it so Bailey didn't even notice. She spent the time fully listening about Baileys complicated past, showing great empathy and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Chip, so glad I found her to take care of my precious baby!”
“Hillside is absolutely wonderful. They took great care of our cat through his suspected FIP diagnosis, feeding tube surgery, and just overall treatment while sick. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a primary veterinarian, as they are very transparent about prices, options, and additional resources (emergency vets, etc.).”

“The employees here were so accommodating and friendly. My dog is very skittish and uncomfortable, trusting other humans because she is not very socialized. I had an emergency and needed to board my dog for the Christmas holiday weekend. Took her to Vetco because she had an appointment, and they made up some random excuse why they couldn't give her a shot she needed. I called Brentwood Animal Hospital, and Michelle and the rest of the team were life savers. Chanel, my dog, was able to get her shot, and the vet she saw said that the next time she has to come, he would order her something to calm her down. The facility was nice and I've decided to bring my dog here to get her care. Thank you!!”
“Dr. Bruce and his staffs thorough service on my English Labrador was ABOVE and beyond any service my previous pets received at VCA hospitals. The ladies at the VCA said his booty glands didn't need expressing. Dr. Bruce found his anal glands very much needed to be expressed. He recognized his allergies & got him on meds & recommended some topical shampoo to help. VCA doctor barely touched him & barely spent 2 seconds looking in his ears. Dr. Bruce found some very painful looking ear infections. Just like with human doctors, don't settle for less for your loved ones. My Scooby Doo is so much happier & can sleep better without always itching & licking. Thank you Dr Bruce & staff ?”
“Had an incredible adoption experience here! Very apparent that staff really knew and loved the dogs in their care. With small children and an existing dog they were such a help to find the right fit for our family.Additionally, staff gave our two little ones coloring pages and crayons and were so welcoming, friendly, and willing to answer any questions with honesty, details, and a smile.Big shoutout to Angel who gave our little ones headphones and fidget toys, allowed them to ask questions, and explained in such a sweet, child-friendly way about the animals, what to expect when walking though to see animals, etc. The staff really made the experience here. Thankful for all of their love and kindness for animals at APA Brentwood.”
“I was frustrated by the lack of communication and concern with my previous vet (of 25 years) and had been looking for a new one for nearly a year. A friend referred me to Dr Scott and Chris and they are exactly what I was looking for. I went to them with a very sick cat and they have been tremendous at helping me care for him. They have been very caring, attentive, and responsive when it comes to making sure we are treating my cat and helping his health improve. When there are problems and treatments Dr Scott has been very helpful in explaining my options and outcomes. Very highly recommended.”

“I love this place! I take all 3 of my animals here. Dr.Toepke in particular was amazing when my dog needed surgery on his paw. The Dr made me and my dog feel very comfortable. The front staff is also super nice and quick getting us checked out!”
