“PRCKC provides a much needed service at an affordable cost. I brought in a stray female cat and am very happy to have her spayed. I found the service to be great from picking up the humane pet trap to picking up the cat after surgery. Thank you for providing this service. If needed I will certainly be a return customer.”
“Very reasonable and good with my dogs! You just need a little patience when checking in or out and be respectful of others. They offer a lot of medical treatments for animals at lower price than you will get anywhere.”
“I love the doggy daycare at Pawsperity. My Cavalier cannot wait to get in the door when we arrive. The staff are all so wonderful and helpful. I like the way the daycare is set up with play areas and the ability to go potty in a designated area. Also they are never over crowded with dogs like some other facilities. I also like that it supports the grooming project to train people for careers as groomers”
“I had a wonderful experience here! I had a complicated situation and they could not have been more helpful! In fact this was the only organization in the KC area willing to assist me and I could not be more grateful and happy with the services provided. The prices were fair and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend utilizing or donating to this organization!”

The bikes had been meticulously cleaned and refurbished. I'm beyond happy with them. As someone who's been using a bicycle to commute for two decades, I highly recommend this shop for all of your cycling needs.”

“Outstanding program! Although these people have disabilities, they have tons of talent in many different ways. Some people are intimated by people with disabilities as i was until I was blessed with the opportunity to really get to know Beth Hartley. I discovered something I didn't know or understand. They are PEOPLE and they have immense value to add to our understanding of diversity. They need us, to understand them and the joy returned to us cannot be put into words without experiencing personal interaction with them. Do not be afraid to love them.... They will love you in their own way.”
“They don't spend much on this YMCA and we can speculate why. It's a sad fact. So yeah, this isn't the Y with the bells and whistles, but what it is is friendly and supportive.The pool is too small to use for lap swimming, but it is good for kids and water exercise.What I love though, is when I go in, I get the happiest greeting. I never feel dumb when I have a question. Honestly, all things being equal (and sadly, they just never are), this would hands down be the place I would always choose, based on staff alone.I mean, I really can't say enough about them. They make you feel good to come visit this Y. I think they are what keeps this place afloat. You know it isn't the funding. I suspect they get the short shrift every time. But you wouldn't know it by the staff. 10/10 the friendliest staff of all KC YMCA's.”
“A friend and I just happened to walk by the store on our way to the art store on the corner. We went in and were fascinated to find shelves full of board games and books and a calendar of dance lessons, murder mystery nights and other social events. We browsed the store and talked to the beautiful young storekeeper and Hondo the Russian Blue cat who meets visitors between his naps. Stop by if you're interested in a new environment to meet people and have fun.”

“My 7-year-old has been taking dance classes here since she was 2 1/2. We absolutely love the teaching artists, staff, and community. The teachers focus on training, not competition. All of the dancers wear costumes that are age-aporopriate and truly look like the young ladies and gentlemen they are in stage. The community is diverse and feels like a family. I can't say enough about how much our family loves KCYA!”
“I'm very impressed with the Great Plains SPCA operation. They are very organized and the staff and volunteers all appear to really care about the animals and their wellbeing. The animals seem as comfortable as possible and the team is clearly doing everything they can to get to know the animals, care for them and find them good homes. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience both as a foster and then as an adopter.”

Does that mean I can tax write off my vintage Chanel?? Well, that question remains unanswered. However, the merit of DO GOOD CO. isn't in question because it always impresses. From its fantastic selection of name brand, in tip top shape, lightly used designer goods to the wide variety of unique and local gifts to surprise any hostess or birthday girl or bride to be...or heck just about anyone youre looking to impress. If you are looking for a store that'll make you beam ear to ear because not only are you being kind to the environment you are also simultaneously supporting children and dogs in need in the immediate kcmo metro area then, DO GOOD CO is for you. It's one of those specialty vintage shops that never feels pretentious but does feel exclusive, and I absolutely love that for the downtown KC area. It makes it easy to allow patrons to feel at home as well as making it a luxury shopping experience. I will continue to shop at DO GOOD CO and FEEL GOOD about doing it. Just recently, I was honored to be invited to attend a holiday party at DO GOOD CO. and every detail was well thought out and planned impeccably. I was so impressed by the catering as well as the great selection of vendors who brought flair to the festivities. Thank you for the opportunity of celebrated the season as well as the mission of this spectacle local non profit.”
“Our family loves this facility! We've had a babyshower, Sweet 16 and 50th birthday party here. The floor plan just works and the kitchen setup and amenities are perfect. My only complaints are one set of the double ovens doesn't work and hasn't for some time and the chairs don't feel sturdy enough like they could give out on you at any time. All in all a great place for an event.”
