“The folks who work at this Trader Joe's make you remember why it's nice to take a break from ordering things online and visit brick and mortar. You won't find anyone more friendly and helpful working retail than those here. Shopping alone with your newborn and having a hard time juggling baby, cart, and bags? Someone will likely ring a bell and have you escorted to your car to push car and help loading bags without having to ask, as they did for my wife. Wondering whether they carry a particular type of olive oil? If you call to ask, someone will likely answer, visit the shelves to check for you and give ideas, and briefly chat with you about the recipe you're using it for, as they did for me. Returning a bottle of wine whose cork wouldn't budge and resulted in your wine opener breaking? You might find yourself with not only a refund, but also a complimentary new wine opener. Yes, this was also my experience among many others. I'll likely encourage our son to apply here for his first job so that he can learn first hand what it means to treat people well.”
“Love this store, exceptional deli meats, cooking oils, olives, fresh breads, and they have a wonderful selection of delicious and unique sausages too! Frozen section of sauces, meats and prepared meal options. I love visiting!!!!”

“I love Trader Joe's because it offers up your more healthier options for food. You'd think it would cost more for groceries but I think they're on par with prices, if not a little cheaper on certain items! Make sure to check out their wines because I'm positive you'll find something you love for a great price. I love that when you walk in it's always to fresh flowers. It's always clean & even if it is more busy on a certain day, this Trader Joe's is big & spacey so it doesn't feel packed!”

“Best smash burger in STL! Sides are always a treat as well. Tallow fries are a must get. Also, review their selections and make your own charcuterie board to go along with your burger. Sit at the counter to watch the butchers work while you eat your meal. Outstanding STL treasure.”

“Shapiros is great! They have some amazing sandwiches while not being nearly as well known as they should be. That could be due to a website that hasn't been updated in two years and no social media presence, but regardless, if you're in the area, get a sandwich here as they're pretty great!”
“Good prices on fruits and vegetables. Boxed crackers, chips, and seafood are pricey. Huge soda selection. You can get a fountain soda there and sweet or unsweetened tea. Clean store and nice friendly staff.”
“This is a must stop for me when I visit the Hill. I wonder how they can make so much authentic Italian products into one neighborhood store. They have wine, candies, Italian specialties ready to cook in both large and personal sizes, fresh meats. It's just a treat to roam the isles.”
“My husband and I are new to the area and saw that the market was only a 3 min walk !We had amazing customer service! Good prices . We both got huge fresh sub sandwiches, chips , drinks and wraps and it was 23 bucks !This place will be are new go too”

“Love this store! Clean and a wide selection of products at very low prices. A dozen brown cage free eggs for $2.49. The pound of organic ground beef at $5.49 is HALF of what other stores charge. Excellent selection on nuts, cheese and wine. Thank you Aldis!”
“First time at Omar's It's a neighborhood grocery with a grill in the back for takeout. You order up front and take your ticket to the grill. I had a lamb gyro with all the toppings cooked... It was sooo good, my mouth is watering thinking about it.”
“This place can be considered a little piece of home to a lot of people. Coming from the east coast where diversity is a lot more prominent and more stores like this are seen, it was very hard to adapt until I found this place. I am able to find a few things from my country that make my daily living better and relieve the home sickness. I love this place and home they can keep on bringing more products from each country!”
“The cashiers are always blazing fast and will get your order rung up faster then I've seen at any big box store. Aldi's has a lot of the everyday Staples Goods you need at reasonable prices. You can do most your grocery shopping and one stop and it is significantly cheaper than the nearby alternatives.”

“I love everything about Trader Joe's! From their gluten-free cinnamon coffee cake muffins to their rolled oats. I just tried their rolled oats for the first time. What!!! OMG! They are the best I've ever had! I don't do instant. These are rolled. Not instant. The quality is awesome! If you like oatmeal and cooking it yourself, please try Trader Joe's! “We stopped by on 02/26/24 to pick up a few items. We had been to a competitor earlier & I looked at their salad bar & it just wasn’t appealing. When I looked at Dierbergs salad bar, it looked amazing so I had to grab a large container and filled it up. Fresh spinach, spring lettuce, iceberg lettuce & fresh veggies. It was so good.”
“I live only 3 minutes away from this market, and it’s been always a place to go either I just need some eggs or wine, or I am in the mood for their delicious sandwiches. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice, including the owner I had tons of fun conversations with. I’m moving out of Kirkwood this week, and will miss this market dearly! “We were pleasantly amazed! My son wanted fun, unique cheeses for his 21st birthday. Vivian was wonderful! She was very humble about her cheese knowledge, but amazed us with all kinds of information about each cheese, taste-wise and practical! She was kind and upbeat and offered my party of 4 samples for each cheese in which my son was interested. We ended up buying about 8 different kinds, and my son mentioned making The Wine and Cheese Place a regular stop in the future. I was also impressed that Vivian was always positive no matter what size we needed the cheese cut! We were thoroughly impressed with The Wine and Cheese Place on New Ballas Rd!”
“The store was fantastic. It was well stocked, full of helpful people, and so clean. I have never seen Berry displays so full! They have an excellent Beer, Wine, and Spirits selection too. I love that they had a great display full of Goat Brand Chips and Fitz Root Beer too. It made our trip to pick up some of our favorite St. Louis treats super easy.”
