Located in an unassuming looking building in what appears to be a lower traffic area of Osage Beach Parkway, Twisted Tony's is a can't miss sandwich shop.
Twisted Tony's has a deep menu of some great sandwich options. Like the name implies, many of these are a twist on standard deli fare, but kicked up with some stronger flavors. Most of the sandwiches appear to have a spicy option, but you can definitely adapt them if you have any dietary concerns.
I ordered a shrimp po boy that was delicious and my wife had a chicken bacon ranch that was also good. The highlight is the bread, which appears to be made fresh daily. It was soft and chewy. It can cause the sandwich to break down a bit, but there is cutlery nearby.
The restaurant itself is not very big. You order at a counter, wait at one of a handful of tables, and your food is brought out to you. There was a line of people before noon on a recent Saturday, but we got our food pretty quickly.
This is a great option if you want a sandwich that far surpasses Subway or Jimmy John's.

It's everything I dreamed it would be and more ! Will be buying these as many times as humanly possible. I never rate anything this High ever! Because I'm just going to say it most people do not know how to cook. I want flavor not just salt and pepper. I'm hard to please with food.

Lil Miss Smokin Jones BBQ
5837 Osage Beach Parkway, Osage BeachStopped in for a change of local foods to try Lil Miss Smokin Jones. Very nice environment, well decorated and comfortable. The food is served in nice proportions with drinks available (no beer :(. The ribs are tender just a smidge overcooked although it was late afternoon visit, served with no sauce but very palatable. The baked beans were flavorful with lots of meat mixed in, however the cheesy corn wasn't a fav but nothing wrong with the taste or texture. We enjoyed the mac and cheese made with curly mac and lots of cheese. Over all the meal had all the bbq flair and seasoning one needs. The ladies behind the counter were busy the whole time we sat at the table finishing our food. Good times in Osage Beach Missouri. (BTW) We are from K C, lol, just found from management liquor license is due shortly.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and relaxing, and the lakeside setting made the whole experience even better. The Cajun flavors were fantastic, and the service was friendly and welcoming. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal, take in the beautiful views, and unwind. We’ll definitely be back!

Dierbergs Bakery
4655 Osage Beach Pkwy, Osage BeachDierbergs is one of our local grocery chains in the St. Louis area, so I shop at several of their locations on a regular basis. My son even works for one near us. We find Dierbergs to be consistently superior to other chains, but I had never seen a Dierbergs like this one. We've vacationed at the lake many times over the years, but this was the first time I had been inside the Dierbergs Lake View location. Wow. First, there's the obvious. The view. They have an area upstairs where you can eat premade food that you purchase there, and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. Try getting that at any other grocery store. They carry the regular things that you'd expect from a grocery store, but they also have a lot of high end items - seafood, cheeses you'd expect from a specialty store, and some very nice wine selections. Ultimately, it is a grocery store, so they have a wide variety of provisions. No matter how long you're staying in the area, you can find everything you could possibly need for your entire trip. We like to hit a store as soon as we arrive in town to pick up some breakfast options and snacks for our trip, and anything we may have forgotten to pack, and this place is perfect for that. It's also great if you want to put together a nice charcuterie with wine back at your rental.

We did a carry out pan of Arroz and while it was good, it needed just a bit more salt so luckily I had some Goya Seasoning, added that and was good to go. We needed this as I was grilling 12 lbs of Carne Asada that night. It was a nice piece to the meal. Yes, we had guac and salsas as well for the BBQ.
I would like to come back and try their menu and hang at the bar as it looks like fun.
I actually left my cc there and the owner held onto it. I met him when I picked up the rice. Very nice man and we have to support gente in this stressful times!
