820 Lake Rd F 12-P, Sunrise BeachEvery time I go to Lake of the Ozarks I stay for a few weeks and try different restaurants the entire time. Last summer and this summer so far I went to Chubbys 90% of my stays! The only reason I keep going back? THE BARTENDER BRI!!! She is not only incredible at her job, she is so lively, makes you laugh but she makes you feel so welcomed and like a friend! She runs the entire restaurant while also being an incredible bartender. She is the reason Chubbys is as good as it is, and if you are going I would 100% sit at the bar as long as she is working because you will not regret it! She let me know this restaurant is open year round so I will make sure I come back even if it’s not in the summer just to see her!

Ozarks Kat And K9 Shelter
17290 MO-5, Sunrise BeachI have been continually donating gently used and clean items to this thrift store and have had a great experience with Angie at the shelter as I find her to be very caring of all her animals. I moved from KC to my lake house 4 yrs ago and got adopted by many stray cats and Angie has helped me tremendously with getting them fixed. I'm still working on catching some and Angie has been so kind to extend a certificate to me without an expiration til I can round them all up. They are well fed and cares for at my house and have warm beds in the winter. We all need to keep doing our part to support the homeless pets that need us. With that said I do donate often and believe this is a great place to bring gently used items that can be resold to the public to buy food and medical and bedding for these sweet fur babies. Please adopt here, you won't be sorry that you did.
