“We stayed here for 3 nights for work and we were satisfied. The rooms were clean and they also cleaned them every day which was nice so we didnt have to go seek out clean towels or anything after a long day of work. I did not see a single bug our entire stay. I did not eat breakfast there so I dont how that is and I also cannot speak on the pool. But the rooms were satisfactory”

“Getting out of the military, I needed a place to stay for two months that wouldn’t cost $4,000. This place definitely saved me and I am very grateful for them. No crim that I experienced in my two months there and it’s directly across from Platte City High School so it’s a safe area. Can the hotel be better? Yes. If you need an affordable place to stay long term close to Fort Leavenworth, I recommend this place. The hotel was fair to me.”

“Best place to stay in Kansas City. I've stayed here twice. They give you buffet dinner at 5:30pm-7pm daily with 3 adult drinks and self serve soda fountain. Free popcorn in lobby until 8pm. Indoor/outdoor pool and a hot tub. All the staff is very friendly. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are tiny and arranged strangely but it works. The hotel has been under construction lately but it hasn't bothered our stays. There are two elevators. They sell out during the week because a company books the rooms for orientation of employees coming from out of town. So it's sometimes hard to get availability during weekdays. We would have stayed there more times than two but they were sold out. Breakfast is a self serve buffet with everything you can imagine. Everything hot and delicious. Parking is free and there aren't many spots. Rooms are quiet. We love this place and so does everyone else since it's hard to book availability.”

“As of our visit (9/21/25) unfortunately Chef Kenna no longer works there. Not sure if she will be rejoining the company or if they are searching for a replacement, but as of our stay there was no more breakfast offered at the inn. We were given a $35 gift card for one of the restaurants affiliated with them for whatever meal we wanted to use it for or on merchandise over at O'Malley's if we wanted so there is some compensation for that. Because there is no staff at the inn we also had to go over to the St Charles to check in/out, but it's just around the corner so not a big deal. While not being cooked a homemade breakfast was disappointing, the rest of the stay was still nice. Our room was the Squire David Tenby room and it was filled with beautiful old antiques (including an old record player). They even included some of the O'Malley beers in our fridge to try. There was no tv in our room but there was one in the common room in the basement which also had movies, games, and plenty of snacks/drinks! There is also an area to sit outside in the back but we didn't make use of that. The location can't be beat as we were able to walk downtown anywhere we wanted to go. We visited the shops, the silk art museum, and, even though it was a bit more of a walk, the historic Laurel Hills Cemetery. My friend and I even went out and walked around late at night after everything had closed and looked at the windows decorated and lit up. I hope they are able to bring back the breakfast someday but there was still plenty to enjoy about the stay regardless. Would go back and highly recommend to anyone else.”

“Really enjoyed our stay! We booked the two bedroom suite and it was exactly what we needed. Loved the glass wall, great amenities in room, two private bedrooms and bathrooms for a VERY reasonable price that was cheaper and better quality than airbnb or vrbo. Great staff too, especially James during the night shift who went out of his way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Will stay at again next time we are in the area!”

“Nice newer Springhill, typical of new construction of this chain. Unlike most hotels in this area near the airport this one is situated well away from the freeway so noise isn’t a problem. Two drawbacks: - Hard water. Showers take forever and you end up stickier than before you got in. - The pool is currently closed by order of the KC Health Department”

If you want to take advantage of the breakfast, and if in any other building than building 7, the best route is to find the central courtyard and go downhill...same instructions for the pool. The hotel was within walking distance (5 minutes) to the commissary, AAFES and CL VI.”

“Its a very nice hotel - Rooms are clean, service and breakfast are awesome! I came to stay here for the Argentina vs Algeria game and this hotel was very easy to book. Kally (Front-desk) who checked us in was incredible / amazing throughout our stay and also helped with late checkout. She is very knowledgable and has great customer service! GM of the hotel is a very nice person as well. We won the raffle for a beautiful Kansas / Leavenworth Scarf and he was generous enough to provide us two!! Overall it was a great Stay and the location of the hotel is great with scenic drives to the Kansas City. Only minor issue that occurred was that - a Market item charged to our folio on a day we were not in the hotel. Kally tried her best with Alex to fix the issue but it didn't resolve. Maybe it was in error but I will not hold that against the exceptional experience.”

“Flawless check-in with Bonnie today. She gave me the rundown, the layout, and a map. The crazy thing is you can actually get lost in these buildings, but once you find your room, breakfast area, and the parking lot; you won't need to see the rest of the hotel. Room 3302 is in the C Building, which is close to the breakfast room. The room itself is a suite. It has a living room, kitchenette, separate bedroom, and bathroom. The living room has a flat screen TV, couch, coffee table, some accent lighting and a desk. The kitchenette has a full fridge, a small range, sink and dishwasher. The bedroom also has a flat screen, queen size bed, end tables accent lighting, and a closet. Breakfast is served promptly at 6am Monday-Friday, and at 6:30am on the weekends. Breakfast is Continental style. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and waffles are available in a buffet. Also, various cereals, oatmeal, and hot sweet rolls are available. Most importantly, the coffee is a plenty and ready to take if you're on the go. The hotel has a small fitness room on the first floor that has a couple of cardio machines, but Gruber Fitness Center is next door, if the in-house gym is full already. I was here for a three week course, and the hotel was well within walking distance of the Lewis and Clark Building and Eisenhower Hall. Just one block away, you can find the post commissary, which is open everyday, along with the post exchange. Bonnie even helped me find an off-post barber, after the Barber Shop at the PX stopped seeing customers. The room was clean when I got it. Came with a living room and kitchen, two TVs, and a spacious bathroom. Housekeeping came to tidy up the bathroom. I'll be here for three weeks, so I'm pretty comfortable and this location is well within striking distance of everything I will and could need during that time. Lucky to have roomed here”

“You can tell someone cares about this place. It's a good price per square footage deal even if it's not the most central location. The breakfast was good and a little different (lime crema, chia pudding, dyi bfast burritos, etc.). The patio with pool, grill, basketball court, and plenty of comfy couches was perfect for families.”

“I frequently stay at this location for work trips and am always impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and excellent level of service from the front desk and restaurant staff. The hotel shuttle runs every 15 minutes and is a short 7 minute drive to and from the airport. They’ve got a great fitness center with plenty of equipment in good condition, and the pool was being emptied and cleaned when I was there. This trip I had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken, it was very good and good portion size. Overall I get the sense that the staff here take great pride in their work and are glad to be there.”
