“Ever since being diagnosed with Celiac and finding out I also have a dairy allergy I have dreaded going to grocery stores. My ’people pleaser’ personality can not handle it. I now have to stop and read every ingredient on everything and I always feel like I’m in the way or taking too long. Coming up with last minute meal ideas is no longer easy and I’ve literally broke down crying while shopping. However, I decided to go shopping after dropping the boys off at school this morning and there weren’t many shoppers. I was able to take my time and explore many new items. Every older gentleman stocking shelves told me “good morning.” So great customer service!! There was even one gentleman (I wish I got his name) who while stocking the shelves talked to me in the Gluten Free section. Telling me about a brand I buy often and how she was local and had a business that went under during Covid so now she sells her packed stuff. It was nice to just talk to someone. Anyways, it was the best grocery shopping experience that I’ve had in a very long time!”
