“Telle Tire & Auto Centers are well known in the St. Louis area, but are a newcomer to the Kansas City area. I used to get my auto work done at KC Complete, but Telle bought them out a while ago. At first I wasn't sure how the new company would be, but I have since had my car at Telle several times and each time they do fantastic work.
I took my car to the Raytown location for the first time since it opened, as it is the nearest to my home, and just like my experience at the other locations, they were fast, friendly and got me out the door feeling good about the service I received. The previous auto shop at this location was terrible, but thankfully they are no more. Telle has an excellent reputation in the STL area for a reason, they do fantastic work, and they are bringing that hard earned reputation to the KC area and we are better off for it.”

“You will seriously never find another auto repair that is as honest, knowledgeable, customer service oriented, and as nice as these people are. If I could give them more starts I would..lol. After taking my 13year old Volkswagon to 3 other places and paying several hundred dollars on trying to get it fixed (including the dealership which wanted to charge me $3100 for repairs that were not even the current problem or an immediate repair ), a friend recommended I take it here to have them run a diagnostic on it. They called me the same day with the results and were 100% honest about what they found. My 13yo Volkswagon needs an ABS Control Module. Looks like Im getting another car..lol. They were more than helpful and I cant thank them enough. I work and live in Raytown just blocks from this shop. Looks like I have found my forever auto repair home..lol.”

“I was referred to Shift by a friend after experiencing what I thought was transmission failure. I assumed the worst and honestly began shopping for a new vehicle being the potential high cost of repair compared to overall value of my vehicle just wouldn’t make sense. After completing an inspection at no charge, Shift determined that it was not the transmission. Even though Shift specializes in transmissions, they replaced my alternator that same day at an affordable cost. The team at Shift were honest, knowledgeable and provided efficient service. “A one star is way too good for this used car lot. Jonathan was the salesman and apparently the manager there also. He sold a 2013 Nissan Maxima to my son. His very first car. He just turned 16. After buying it, the same evening I took it around 5 miles and started seeing s huge cloud of smoke when the car accelerated. Not to mention the horrid sound coming from the rear end. I returned the car less then 24 hours from purchase. Jonathan said he would have his mechanic look at it. After the third day I finally reached him again. He told me the engine was blown and he could have his mechanic replace it for another 850 bucks. When I told him I just wanted the money back, Johnathan refused stating “ I wasn’t going to bully him and that if I could return the car, which clearly was not an option that it would then affect his pocket and food for his family.” Please… but it’s okay to take from a 16 yr old kid. I was not about to give that man one more dime of anybody’s money. I then took the car to a mechanic of my choice, where I was told it was missing more than one lug nut from one of the wheels, causing it to make the noise. It would need four new tires, alignment and the lug nuts had to be ordered so the new tires and wheels would stay on the car. My son could have been hurt if his wheel would have come off on the way home from that rip off of a dealership. Almost 1000 more dollars later the car was atleast safe to drive. It lasted another week before quitting all together. It continued to blow smoke out and stared rattling like there wasn’t oil in it. But there was an oil change done when we bought the new tires. It’s been over a month and still haven’t received the title. I would bet Jonathan won’t be willing to pay the title and registration penalty either. The phone to dealership just rings and rings and sometimes an answering machine picks up. Not often. This car was inspected by the dealerships mechanic and passed with all the problems with the wheels and tires and the start time on the inspection slip was less then 10 minutes before the end time. That’s an illegal inspection if I’ve ever heard of one. Stay away from this car lot or be prepared to throw your money out the window. Jonathon is a creep and the owners must not care about the negative reviews this guy gets.”
