“You can always find something to read in Half Price Books. I was looking for a specific book and they did not have it at one store. They found it at another store that was on my way home. The staff is always helpful and they love their work. It is not flashy and doesn't have a coffee shop but you can find books on almost any subject.”
“I live in NC and there was a book releasing that I was hoping to get a signed copy of. Not only did this lovely bookstore have the book, but they mailed it on time so that I received on release day. I hope one day to visit KC and see the bookstore in person ❤️”

“Such a wonderful bookstore with very friendly service! Classic titles in many different subjects. Neat, relaxing spaces in which to browse and read. Chill vibe from both patrons and the space. Cool t-shirts are available as well.(Posting pics I'm thinking aren't too oft-posted as opposed to the more standard fare.)”
“One of the greatest card shops there is! Always friendly staff and they have a great inventory of cards and board games. Love the amount of room they offer to play Magic with the homies.”
“Half Price Books has a great selection of books and music. Particularly vinyl no matter the location. I highly suggest you visit them! Make sure you have plenty of time to look around when you visit. You never know what you might find!”
“Cory, the owner, was an absolute joy. She cares about black and brown experiences shared through books. KC is known for its food and bar scene, but BLK + BRWN proves that there is a safe and necessary space for those who love to think, use their imagination, and form community through the love of reading. God bless Cory and her beautiful space. Support local!”

“Staff is friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable on the different authors and sections. Looked forward to stopping in and we will definitely be back.
Had a task to complete for a library challenge and they knew exactly how to assist.”
“I was visiting Kansad City for a conference and I decided to stop by Bliss Books & Wine. I was welcomed with warm open arms the moment I walked in. The staff member was so friendly and gave me great book recommendations. I enjoyed sipping on some wine and shopping for a good book. I highly recommend coming here”
“I consider myself blessed beyond all measures that this store exists. They have helped me more than they will ever know in deeping my love for the Catholic Church.”
“Cute and quaint. My granddaughter's request was to go to a real bookstore. The staff was helpful and welcoming. There is a little bit of everything from toddler to political interests.
And Socks, the resident cat, was the highlight for sure!”
“Nice book store, had some interesting titles I haven't seen before. Had a very knowledgeable speaker last night named Peter about Geomancy. Peter is a Excellent Geomancer, and the class was very informative and hands on. Highly recommend any class that he teaches!!!”

“The book stores now inside prefix Cafe. It's a little bit smaller but it's a incredibly wondrous Cafe. Also IHOPU students get discounts for books. Be sure to bring your student badge.”
“Excellent bookshop, where I am being able to expand my knowledge on the true story of Joseph Smith who was not polygamist and I do not teach polygamy and on scientific research that proves that the Book of Mormon is not true.”
“Fun store that truly has good deals! I love visiting this store! FYI if you see something you like, if possible, get it now not later. The merchandise changes often.”
“It's nice that you can charge your student account and pay your balance when they bill you.I appreciate that they have school supplies and food, though I wish they had a few more filling food options when I'm in a pinch.”
“We love this little bookstore! Great selection of new and used books, as well as puzzles, games, stationary, gifts, etc. A true gem in Raytown - they also do lots of fun community events, from silent book clubs to book signings/readings with local authors. So glad to have this shop in our community!”
