“This is my favorite store. A lot of others I go to are hit and miss on good things especially at a good price. Somethings can be priced a little high but its always an experience and I always come out with a few good gems!”
“This is by far one of the best local thrift stores I shopped at! There is care and intention put towards the way it is organized. And for very reasonable prices! Highly recommend”
“I love this place and their cheap items it’s sad people steal from small businesses. There are some items like makeup just at the front of the store by the cashier if you ask him he’ll let you look through! I love the people there they are sweet and I will be coming again.”
“I couldn’t believe how big this place was! Staff was very kind and attentive, I had a couple of people greet me just as I walked through the store and I thought that was amazing. They have so many great furniture, the prices are very reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend checking them out!”
“I have never had a bad experience here. Some items are overpriced, but they have fair deals on others. I don't shop for clothes here, it's not laid out well for that. However, household items are always reasonably priced.”
“A good old-fashioned neighborhood thrift store with real world thrift pricing. I stopped here on a Tuesday over lunch hour and bought a sewing pattern, a metal basket and two decorative planters. They had a great selection of nice wooden furniture. Some cool vintage posters. Nice chiice of baskets and home goods. Even some great quality clothing. Thoughtful and well-organized media room, too. A table of free food up front. Worth a visit.”
“Very interesting stuff. The staff was helpful and friendly. I found a few items to purchase. I didn't get to the outside stuff but you just have to go look.”
“Amazing selection of clothes and movies! They have dressing rooms as well which is always a plus in my book. The reason im giving 4 stars is because ive tried calling them multiple times and they never pick up. I went and it was not busy at all. But overall still great.”
“First time at this location. And it is one of my two favorite stores. It is a hidden jem. I don't think alot of folks, realize how close it really is around KC area.I had already posted pictures on Google. My husband and I will return.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean, organized and full of a large variety of items in good shape. Always a pleasure to donate to Habitat, now a pleasure to shop there.”
“I've been to Annie's a few times to buy and sell have never had a problem with customer service or not getting products returned back if not bought I think Annie and her staff are great and will continue to buy and sell and refer others to her.”
“This store has always been amazing and I’m just curious what the hours are because I drive by all the time when their supposed to be open and i haven’t seen anyone there for months?”
“This place has a great selection, the prices are a bit high for a salvation army but you can find some reasonably priced items. The staff is nice, this place is organized and clean for the most part. No dressing room or public bathroom. The staff is nice and willing to help if you ask.”
“I’m moving so I can share the secret now. This is the best thrift in Kansas City for teenage girls. I have 3 and they have expensive tastes. They are all three very unique with their styles and fashion. This economy is ridiculous so we thrift a lot to save money. We can come here and get an entire season worth of clothes for the 4 of us around 200$. This location is extremely picky with what they put on the racks. They clearly only have clean clothes in great condition and current trends. We will miss this goodwill when we relocate across the country soon. Thank you for what you do for families like mine ?”
“love this place, great variety of shoes and home stuff for low prices. every category has its own price, large stuff is usually 9 dollars, a pair of shoes is about $3-5 dollars, so many clothes to go thru. I always find so many treasures when I go there, you can find almost anything you are looking for.”
“Thrift World is a thrift store offering a variety of moderately priced second hand items. I am honestly not sure how I came upon this place, but my goodness am I thankful I did. This place has so many selections (especially for the plus size section). I was browsing for at least an hour and that was a very speedy version. If you visit their website, they list discount days. If you sign up for the text alerts, you'll have knowledge of the special sales going on from time to time. I love this place.”
“I always leave here spending more money than I intended. Good for them bag for me. The staff is always friendly and helpful... Make sure you sign up for the rewards! The fact that something is on sale everyday is a plus for me too.”
“I'm a diehard thrifter (I made this word up) so I visit thrift stores wherever I find them. It's not a large store and there's not a huge selection as with other thrift stores that I've visited but as always a "once drop in" doesn't hurt. Never know what you might find. It was cool and the cashier had me rollin. She used a counterfeit marker on my $5 bill. We both got a laugh outta that. I'll stop by again when I'm in the area.”
“sweetest lady fronts this store and always has some sort of sale going on, this shop is full of vintage treasures from over the decades and has a beautiful assortment of handmade items and other nice things. this store is truly a hidden gem <3”
“The staff at this location is absolutely incredible. Every single person that works there always has a smile on their face and is always happy to greet you. I lost my phone today and had it not been for such an attentive staff and the idea to turn off the overhead music, I wouldn't have found my phone and I'm so grateful and thankful. Even the shoppers there stopped to help me.”
“The employee chance helped me out as soon as I walked through the door by holding the door open for my son and I to come in. This has been the best experience at any goodwill me and my family have ever had.”
“To see this shop’s mission come alive with its pieces, is truly amazing. The owner’s background in mental health gives you a sense of calmness and cause to act. I found the cutest handmade candles with gemstones hidden within to bracelets that make me feel powerful. Do yourself a favor, visit this shop and get some treats.”
“Clothes at Goodwill are more reasonable because of the discount system, but I the other merchandise like housewares, etc. is priced pretty fairly. There is a wide variety items and generally in pretty good shape too.”
“Changed my life for the better. Made me look more at myself and God and what I can control and react. Would have gave it 5 Starz but I went when the pandemic hit and they suspended visitation/ escape. They had to take us for supervised walks.”
“Believe or not, many people came to this place only for therapy.
Here you can leave stress and boredom behind.
In this place you might find gold, sterling silver, and bronze, but only if you're lucky.
Many people are looking for expensive Hot Wheels cars, but remember, all items are ready to be reused or discarded.
The buyers are very discreet and might even fight over a single shoe.
The only negative thing for me is, only one Goodwill outlet, There is only one goodwill outlet, in this area.
WILL SEE YOU SOON.”

“I absolutely enjoy visiting this Salvation Army store! It features an impressively large women's clothing section, making it a treasure trove for anyone looking for stylish and affordable options. What truly makes each visit special is the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. In particular, Rebecca, the cashier, stands out as an exceptional employee. She is always incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel valued as a customer. It’s clear that the Salvation Army is fortunate to have someone like her on their team, as she consistently goes above and beyond to enhance the shopping experience.”
“Everyone was nice. Enjoy the conversations with the cashier lady. Very friendly. They should make it an all way stop signs in between the buildings. Had to go to Macintosh & Cockerell & ppl did really care to look twice. Yes i was with my 2 yr old. Just my thoughts. This is what my baby girl got at red racks.”
“My favorite thrift chain store DAV
Seems to always have something for everyone. Fair pricing, perks, and deals, not to mention the heads up messages that let you know of special upcoming drops.????”

“Pricing has gotten ridiculous at the one one in Independence on 23rd street. Prices are actually cheaper new at Walmart on a lot of items I checked recently. It has always been my go to place on most things I need, not anymore.”
“Chill vibes with lots of vintage clothing and accessories. Prices are fine. Some cheap and discounted stuff, and some high dollar pieces that seem to be priced appropriately, due to coolness and how rare etc. would go back”
