“I got married here in 2024 and this resort/ and the way they executed everything brings me so much joy till this day. It will forever be the best day of my life. So good I look back and don’t feel like it was real! …. And our honeymoon was in Tuscany and I’d say it was equivalent to that. My husband and I have agreed that they truly have such great employees and everything is well run with good management! I can’t wait to go back and eventually take my children. It is truly such a special place! We are soooo glad we chose Big Cedar Lodge for our wedding day and weekend!”

“I found this motel by accident but it is very nice. Tesla car chargers (not free), outdoor pool, hot tubs, full bar. Excellent staff and reasonable for the quality. A stream also passes by the hot tubs with a small waterfall and absolutely clear water. Excellent overall experience.”
“Great access to the lake, wonderful hosts (Joy, Ron and their whole family are the best!), terrific rooms. My parents have been coming down for around 2 decades, this was the first year I came with my wife and 2 kids. Booked 2027 before we left and all four of us can't wait!”
“Overall I would give our stay 4 stars. Our room was clean, but the curtains on the windows weren't quite wide enough, so no matter how I moved them around, it still let in quite a bit of light from the outdoor hallway. I prefer it pitch black when I sleep.
The waterpark was fantastic and we enjoyed all the different areas we could enjoy. The slides and the lazy river were a favorite!
We purchased their fall package and thought the deal was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the outdoor mini-golf course and the delicious pizza. We thought the show (Pets & Giggles) was a little too over the top silly with all the farting noises so we only stayed for half the show and then left. We did wish the buffet was a little more affordable. We opted to leave for meals except for the pizza we got from our packaged deal.”
“Instead of going to the main strip in Branson, head to The Pointe Bar & Grill. It is very close to town and easy to get to. The prices are the best in town, the food is wonderful, and the staff is great! We are breakfast there almost every morning and tried various things. It was all good. The big fluffy omelet and the biscuits and gravy were wonderful. We would highly recommend!”
“We returned to Rockwood this year. We had not been to the lake for a few years, and we had a blast! It is the ideal place for our extended family. Easy access to the lake, the boat slips are a must for us, close to all amenities, restaurants, shopping, and off lake activities. The condos are perfect for large or small groups. Nicely appointed rooms, large kitchen, multiple bathrooms, patio, lots of space.”

“Stayed here over the Memorial Holiday weekend... Rooms were clean and comfortable. The view was amazing and the kids loved the pool! Also, the owner, Dan, was amazing and super friendly! He even let us build a campfire and roast hot dogs one evening! We will definitely be booking another stay again very soon!!!”

“I love it here! It’s only been 2 weeks, but I have had nothing short of 5 star service from Alex and Dave. I had a minor faucet leak, and it was immediately taken care of. My room is spacious, and very clean. I have free HBO and MAX. It is always very peaceful and quiet. There is video surveillance everywhere, and full time security.

“Check in/out was easy. Friendly and attentive staff. Great location, not far from everything. Loved being surrounded by all the trees. The only complaint I have is the room needs a good deep clean. The floors need a good scrub as well as the cabinets. The room could also use a few more utensils and supplies (trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap) for the families that are staying longer. My SIL was also staying in the apartment next to ours and her AC never cooled below 75 even though it was set lower.”

“Price was great! Very close to Branson to get around. The nice employees behind the desk up front where all kind. Hot tub worked great in indoor pool erea. Little Mexican restaurant was the bomb. “I booked this hotel so I could be near my Dad who was in the hospital. Was a little nervous traveling alone but when I arrived at the hotel I was immediately welcomed to the hotel. When I got to my room the rooms were very clean and loved that it was not only close to the hotel but was within walking distance to the historic downtown. Would highly recommend.”
“Grand Oaks was a great place for our family of 5 to stay for our weekend Branson trip! Breakfast was good and hot, the rooms were nice, quiet, and cozy. We had plenty of amenities. All good things! But what sets it apart is the staff... Cody and David got to witness our 3 year old become the saddest boy you've ever seen when we realized that the pool had a lot of teenagers having the time of their lives, but that meant that we couldn't really let the little one in. They didn't have to make any exceptions for us, but they did. We all got to swim for just a little bit and it made our kids so happy. Good people exist and they exist at Grand Oaks! The people always make the trip awesome. Thank you to the staff, what you do matters?”

“Room was clean, bed comfortable and the room was pleasantly quiet. Being close to elevator, I was concerned it might be a distraction, but it was not at all. “Balcony” was concreted in; door was not operational, but I did not have a need for it anyway. There was no remote, but when I called the desk they sent someone up with a new one and he programmed it right there. The front desk agents were polite and helpful. The breakfast offered plenty of options and was nicely kept up. Had it not been winter and snow on the ground I would have utilized the walkability of the hotel in proximity to several restaurant and store options. I also appreciated the enclosed closet space and separate ironing board, iron cabinet. Bathroom was clean and well supplied. The water pressure was much better than other places I have stayed and the tub delightfully not slippery.
I had not need, but coffee and microwave convenient in the room and a nicely sized mini fridge was available.
My only negative was the heat was inconsistent. It would get VERY warm and then EXCEPTIONALLY cool throughout the night.”

“Not great for handicap but of course it is hill country. But it's beautiful.
Rooms: Rustic, country, conformable.
Walkability: Great if you are capable
Noteworthy details: Roads are not great for boats/trailers.
But a good place to have a golf cart to drive around.”
