“Everyone was friendly and always had food snacks and drinks available, not a bad walk to or from the hospital. They had a movie room, a little play area off of the living room and dining room that kids can build with Legos on the Lego wall”

“Love volunteering, donating, and visiting this place. Staff are so helpful and friendly. When you commit your time and donating, not only is it rewarding but also, you're helping out the kids and those who are sick. They always need things here. Check their website for their wants and needs. I have donated some toiletries, travel size soap, shampoo, lotions etc. Sharing is caring. If you get a chance, you get to meet their mascot/pet dog. Very friendly.”
“Such a welcoming and friendly environment. They bless my family with so many groceries and baby needs! I’m thankful and I recommend for anyone that needs a little bit of assistance!”
“Great store with eclectic vintage items. Men’s and women’s upscale resale fashion. Their staff is great and can point out items that you might overlook. Gems galore… LOVE Do Good Co!”
“Humble little non-profit bicycle shop ran by volunteers. Good selection of used bikes, seemingly fixed up like new, for a flexible price. The staff/volunteers are were friendly and knowledgeable, and had me in and out with a nice Schwinn. Very cool concept.”

Afterwards we are taught the Word of God regarding the tenets of being a Man in the sight of God! Everything from Managing Finances to Leading a Family! Powerful and Insightful teachings lead by the CEO Bishop Marvin Daniels Himself. Come and See!”
“Wonderful place to host or attend a meeting. Make sure you leave extra time to visit the beautiful gardens across the street from the conference center. Easy to schedule meetings, the staff are great, and there are a variety of meeting spaces so you can find something that works for your group.”
“Amazing, inclusive teacher! My husband and I enjoy taking dance classes together (they're all intro classes as we're not really dancers), and the intro to salsa teacher on 1/24/24 was one of the best teachers we've had. We look forward to learning more from Redux Society!”
“I love ❤️ CDD I have worked here for 4 yrs and have great co-workers and bosses and the best individuals. They love their employees and individuals and always have something special going on for us and treat us like family ? ?!!!!”
“I recently attended a HEMP event at the Kauffman Conference Center. All I can say is wow! You can feel (and see) the magic from Mr. K in this place. Mr. K's generosity and spirit are here! Love the pictures and state of the art conference rooms. Everything about it is A+!”
“They are very polite and respectful. They show you around the place. They also give you multiple options to choose from as like family or single monthly. And they give military discount because I’m a veteran and they gave me one just make sure you show your VA or military id if not that then your DD-214.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean, organized and full of a large variety of items in good shape. Always a pleasure to donate to Habitat, now a pleasure to shop there.”
“It's a great place to serve. They do wonderful things in the community. They serve the homeless. They have a food pantry and clothing that's given out monthly and they give food from the harvesters. There's an outlet here for anyone who wants to serve God ❤️”
“Healing House made such a positive impact on my life. When I went in I was broken and beat down from many years of drug use, and I honestly didn't know how to function like a normal person anymore. They brought rules and structure to my everyday life. The leaders actually care about the people coming in the door. Not to say that are going to coddle you, they are very real and expect you to work an honest program. And I found in my time there that most everyone I knew including myself that actually wanted to get clean; did very well in the program. So thank you Healing House. You will always have a place in my heart.”
“I dropped a couple things off to donate. The lady at the front desk was very kind. The guys reacted quickly when I drove my car around back. They couldn't take a couple things I had but gave me suggestions as to who might take it.”
“Great charity that helps those families that are less fortunate. We didn't realize that my wife and I have been contributors for 28 years. They care for the security of the children or adults you sponsor as well as you, the donor. They were able to arrange special need family requests and do not overwhelm you with solicitations. Highly recommend.”
“Charlie’s House is a very informative site to educate parents and homeowners on the potential household dangers that can harm young children. Call the staff and schedule a tour of the facility, Melissa Roach gives a great tour and offers visitors insights into safety. This tour is a must for Childcare facilities, and Emergency First Responders in order to share with the public.”
“Been coming for over a year now working with many of the different therapist. Started in a wheelchair and now no longer need a cane. That right there speaks for itself on how good a place this is. Everyone is a very caring person. Highly recommend.”

“Enjoyed watching the cowboys bull riding and bronco riding. Alot of fun. Food was good too. The BIG clown that rode a SMALL motorcycle up a short ramp and jumped over 2 cowboys laying on the ground was funny to watch. He had a Evil Knevel outfit on and made it fun to watch.”
“Goodwill is a very dynamic place to work for with a lot of dynamic people who are very serious about their mission, community and employees. I grew up in the neighborhood they were in and had a relative who spent many years with them. All I can say is this is a business who really say what they mean and definitely do exactly what they say above and beyond.”
“I work for a nonprofit so I use nonprofit connect to place adds for various positions. I have found a few candidates through posting on their website. They offer several seminars and services to help nonprofits. Recently I visited their new office downtown KC. it was nice.”
“It has already been great to see the developments of the facility. The clean up and even the addition of the new sign is starting to bring life back into this historic soccer facility. Everyone talks about the good old days of WMSL and I’m looking forward to that coming back. Our oldest daughter played this spring in the juniors program with coach Ryan and coach Victor. She loved them both and had the biggest smile on her face week after week. She is already looking forward to playing this fall, learning new skills and making new friends.”
