I have been to this location on several times as well as my father. He in an expert Gardner and I am a certified professional Landscape Designer with 10+ years in the industry. I love the bird plant seeds that this location has to offer. However the conversation with the staff is strained and come with a lot of effort as they seem to not really care to discuss the particulars of certain questions regarding their selections.
I am not sure if this is a post-covid issue but it is not acceptable and needs to be addressed. I asked a woman who I was ordering seeds from various questions on some wild flower shade mix. I asked her what the shade time was for the and she acted abrasive and bothersome at the question.
I asked several other questions and received the same response which led me to finish my transaction and leave the store. The next time I think about visiting this store I will consider whether I want to experience poor customer service again.
Parking can be a bit of a bother on the weekends but is usually not an issue if you know the location and are familiar with its surroundings.
The price of items in this location are a bit high and may be mass produced. I mention this because I have found several of the items located here at nearly 25% cheaper at other locations. This may be due to the locations overhead. For the most part I would say that the price can seem high for some things and fairly reasonable for others. Do your market research if money is a priority.
One last thing that I want to bring up is the condition of the floors and the how the transitions from one room to the next can be precarious so use caution if you have mobility issues.”

“This was a fun store to visit today. There were a lot of cool little things here and there for decorating and for yards and other Hardware needs. I stopped in to have some knives sharpened which was a little bit chaotic because there were a lot of people necessary to finish that transaction. Overall, I was happy with the cleanliness of the store in the friendliness of the people who worked there. I will be picking up my items soon and will hopefully be happy with that as well.”

“Had to replace my 30 yr old craftsman reciprocating saw...found a Bauer one at Harbor Freight for $39..It will only be used sporadically...so will see how it lasts..don't have high hopes it will last as long as the Craftsman but it wasn't top of the line when I bought it either...”

“This business is top notch. Traveling home from Montana to St. Louis I had a bearing go out on my utility trailer. I stopped there to see about renting a flatbed to get it home. They suggested the might be able to repair it. I continued home while they took a look at it. It turned out it needed an entire axle - not something they do. I got a flatbed in St. Louis and went back to get my trailer and they helped load it a day and a half later. For the diagnosis, the storage and the help loading it they did not charge anything. For anyone in the KC area looking for a customer friendly rental place this is it!”

“As a first home owner it can be frustrating when things break. Our kitchen faucet broke and we went to Lowe’s (because it was closer to us) to try to replace the hose we found online-the help we received there was not great. We were ready to give up but decided go to Home Depot on the off chance they had he hose that was impossible to find. Timothy Danuser went above and beyond to assist us in finding the correct faucet and explained in detail how to install it and recommended a special wrench to save us time and frustration. As a first time home owner I can’t explain how much this meant to us. We will definitely be driving the extra few blocks to Home Depot for our future purchases.”
