“TJ’s has a lot of vegan staples (tofu, noodles, rice, milk, etc.) and treats. Some of my favorite frozen items include their Jumeokbap (rice balls), Chocolate Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert (ice cream), and their hash brown patties. They have fresh and frozen fruits/vegetables, nuts, sauces, soups, chips, breads, and spices (non-exhaustive list). The staff is friendly and helpful. They also sell durable reusable freezer grocery bags. They bag items using paper brown bags and have free compostable silverware upon exiting. I go near closing to avoid the parking lot traffic and customer rush as it can be cramped inside when busy. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-04”
“Absolutely loved this spot! The food was incredible — the skillet hash with the perfectly runny egg was next level, and the biscuits and gravy were rich, comforting, and so flavorful. You can tell everything is made with care. The space is cozy and welcoming, and the little touches (like the fresh flowers on the table) made it feel extra special. Will 100% be back!

“Goated restaurant on Cherokee st. Small amount of seats available, open area connected to another goated supermarket. Food is always freshly grilled. Smells amazing.
The workers do speak English but sometimes there's a slight language barrier when ordering (if you're picky) but nothing Google Translate can't fix.
Usually will receive my food within 10-15 minutes (I usually buy their carne asada burrito and a Mexican coke and usually comes out around $16-18)

“I absolutely loved shopping at this meat market when I lived in St. Louis. The butchers were always friendly, knew their stuff, and the meat packages were priced really well for the quality you got. They had a great selection, and it was one of those places you could count on every time.
Since moving away, I honestly haven’t found another market that comes close. St. Louis locals really have something special there and should definitely appreciate it.”

“I have been on the hunt for a place that sells organic, farm fresh produce, meat, dairy. I didn’t have enough time to really browse all the things they have in this space, but the produce I got was so fresh and tasted like real foood!!! The farm fresh cream was amazing and I’m excited to try the steaks and chicken!!! My only wish i had was that there were more places like this closer to the area where I live, but thankful there is a place like this!!”

“The waffle cut fries and the hand grated frozen cheddar cheese bag are excellent. All the cheeses we have bought over the years have been excellent and a dollar or two cheaper than Sams or Schnucks. The frozen 5 hamburger patties and the frozen St. Louis style box we're both decent. Yeah the staff is not real friendly or helpful. Or I should say… depends who is working. Not too knowledgeable on their product for such a small store. You don't seem that busy at the counter ... so walk around a bit and familiarize yourself, why don't you?”

“Whoever was working July 3rd 2026 at 10am really ought to get a raise. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name, It was a blonde girl who is running the checkout counter she was answering phones checking everyone out answering people's questions when they were interrupting her phone call and in the midst of all of this she started fixing the broken self checkouts so people didn't have to wait so long in line because only two were operational
The store was an absolute madhouse and her fixing those machines sped everything up massively. If she hadn't been there it would have took way longer to take my single item through checkout.
I hope management reads this and figures out who that was they at least deserve some kudos.”
“After searching for glass bottle Topo Chicos and failing at big box stores, I decided to drive out of the way and try out La Tienda. They had exactly what I needed. The man who rang me out gave me a bulk price which was much appreciated. Also, I needed four limes, which I didn’t see on the sales floor. The cashier graciously went in back and just gave me them. All around, very courteous and great service! I’ll be back to try the food.”
“I come here a lot for vapes, the guy (I assume the owner) is really decent. Got a bad vape there, the thing kept firing even after I used it and couldn't get it to stop. I didn't think to get the receipt so the owner gave me a 50% discount on the replacement. All and all, pretty good place if you're not looking to buy alcohol.”

“I been using this store for years and filling of my foods needed to survive. For as the people outside not so blessed to shop inside have never seen any of them cause problems with anyone and acasionally when I don't feel like reinstalling the cart and no one to catch you on the flip will happily do it for the quarter and I think that's a generous service for the money.”
“This is the premier location of Dierbergs markets in St. Louis. I often go here when it’s raining because they have a massive underground garage where you can park, stay dry, and ride the escalator up to the main level.
I always find the store to be well stocked with everything you could need. They have a massive selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh sushi, meats, and seafood.
They also have multiple places to sit and eat, Weather be upstairs or in their sitting area on the main level.
The best part is probably the workers. We always have extremely friendly folks helping us out.”

“A medium size Aldi’s with ellie low prices. You really can’t beat the value at Aldi’s. You will only get one choice for most things. Almost everything all these house is awesome. They always have great deals on meat put in the crockpot and egg and milk. Prices are the best. Only Walmart can come close to all these prices.
Check out is always fast, and the people are friendly. Sometimes some of the produce, especially fruit can be occasionally moldy if they’re about to get restocked. Be sure to look at the fruits and vegetables carefully before you buy them.”
