“What a great store. We are new to the area and we're not familiar with Aldi. We were accustomed to shopping at Trader Joe's and always enjoyed the store. Turns out the two owners are brothers.

“I stumbled upon this market and I'm glad I did. They have an incredible selection of Hispanic foods and products. Plus, Mexican sweet bread. Very friendly staff. The big box stores with their Hispanic isle is a joke compared to Latino Market.”

“They remodeled about 8 years ago, but the updates are showing their age. The floors aren't in the best condition.
Usually a busy place. I love that they have self-checkout, so getting out is not a problem.”
“Kenneths tree service was a godsend for me. I tried getting several quotes from other tree companies, and just as I was about to settle on one who was not going to be able to get to me for 4 more months and higher priced, a woman I work with told me about Kenneth's who had taken down and removed a tree for her. He showed up within a couple of weeks and took down my entire tree that had been damaged during the April 29th 2025 storm and also grinded my stump for an extremely reasonable price. He hauled everything off and cleaned everything up. I was VERY impressed. He's also a very kind man. You will not be disappointed.”

“The store was very clean and organized. They didn't seem to have a big condiment section. I also like the fact that if you need a void at the self check-out, the cashier can override and void from his/her register without making customers wait but a few seconds.”

“Absolutely this place, though it has lots of west Africa food stuff, they are considerate of their East African brothers and sisters! Found a few items though...tried the home made jollof rice and it was super delicious ?, mild spicy. What saddened me is that they stopped stocking ' bungee' maize flour which is the best for us. Jumi, the wife is super courteous. Owners please, I'm looking forward for 'jogoo maize flour from kenya', if you can get this...nawaoo ? I go be happy for this America a beg now”
“Generally the people here are awesome to deal with and most of the time will try to work you in early if possible. However this is the second time I have reached the receiver and had product left on the truck that was outdated. I have now been forced to pay for parking while waiting for the receiver and the shipper to communicate with my company what they want me to do with the product. I just had a great load with lots of miles taken off of me due to this. Hopefully the warehouse sees this review and addresses the issue.”

“Always fantastic! Staff is great, they have a huge selection, and they are always a clean location! They have so many little things through there store! They have a bar, a flower shop, hot food, deli, bakery, a supplement shop, a beer/ liquor area, and of course a full grocery store!”
“While Hy-Vee is always very clean and organized there sometimes things that just set it apart from other stores. I went in last week a few days before prom and was panicking to try to find flowers for my daughter for prom and Melissa in the floral department was so amazing and her flowers were so lovely. She put such a lovely bouquet together and at a very reasonable price. it took so much stress off of me and my daughter thought they were lovely.”

“It's a neighborhood store not a Walmart good selection but typically the prices are a bit higher in the city location. There are less than desirable people who hang around and stare you up. Parking lot needs stripped and re-lined for proper parking spaces, as is now people just pull in a pile and jam everybody up.”
“I bought a couple of the Gelatys ice cream pops by the self checkout area. The kitty shaped one was melted and the guys working were so kind and helpful. They opened so many boxes for me until we found one that wasn't melted! Excellent service!”
