Dr. Shoemake went far beyond anything I have ever seen from a veterinarian—or any professional, for that matter—when it came to helping us relocate our dog from the United States to South Africa. This was not a routine process. It was an extremely complex, time-sensitive international relocation involving strict requirements, USDA approvals, FedEx shipment deadlines, and countless details that had to be handled correctly and within very narrow timeframes.

I could see the pressure he was under, and I know this was far outside the scope of a typical veterinary appointment. Yet he remained professional, committed, and determined to help us succeed.
