“Had my car towed in on Aug 23rd Sean (the owner) had it in the shop by 10:00am. It was the cable on the shifter that needed to be replaced. Car was repaired and I picked it up the next day. The Chevy dealership said they would be able to get it in next week.

“My steering wheel had a lot of vibration in it at certain speeds. I took my truck to two other local shops first and the first one said I needed a new torque converter and the second one said I needed a whole new transmission and quoted me $4,500. I decided to get a third opinion and took it to Jim at Professional Auto Repair CTR. He told me right away when I described what the truck was doing that it was not likely due to the transmission. After just a short amount of time looking into it, Jim determined that the issue was the 7th cylinder misfiring and causing the clutch on the torque converter to engage at certain speeds. He said I likely just need to replace a spark plug or coil which is a cheap fix. I appreciate Jim's honesty and knowledge and the fact that he saved me from spending thousands with another shop that was trying to take advantage of me instead of fixing the actual problem. I highly recommend Jim and Professional Auto Repair CTR and will be using them again when needed.”

“I bought a low mileage Corvette a few weeks ago. Since the vehicle had been setting, I could feel the steering was very tight and the brakes we all but nonexistent. After making an appointment at Jim Trenary in Troy, the service advisor, Brennan, asked a lot of questions about the vehicles braking performance. She had the shop check the brakes and found the front brake pads and caliper pins were old and sticking. Parts were ordered replaced, and power steering fluid was replaced. The car was ready ahead of schedule and away i went. I still wasn't happy with the stopping power of the brakes. Brennan and I took a test drive and she too wasn't satisfied. I left the car there and a master cylinder and a complete fluid drain was completed. Again, ahead of schedule by a day. Picked the Corvette up Friday morning and my wife is still wondering if I'll ever get out of it. I love driving performance cars and with Brennan sticking with it, I still can't get out of it....did I mention this was all ahead of schedule. B”

“Had car battery replaced mine went bad couldn’t turn it off. It wouldn’t start without a jump they took me in. In a hour I was good as new. Greg behind counter was fantastic so friendly kept me informed as to what was going on he was so busy but was always kind and friendly in a stressful time. He is an asset to the company for sure and should get a raise”
