7405 Pershing Ave, University CityThe location of this restaurant is impeccable. It’s surrounded by beautiful homes and close to just about everything. Seating was mainly outdoors when we visited, although I believe that was because an event was being held inside that evening.
We went on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy, with about a 20-minute wait for our family. They have a separate area for guests waiting for a table, though, where we were able to order appetizers and drinks. Everything came out quickly, so the wait really didn’t feel bad at all.
The guacamole was fantastic. We also ordered several different tacos, which were mostly good but not especially memorable. Of everything we tried, the Nashville taco was the clear winner.

TOUS les JOURS Bakery Café - University City
6681 Delmar Boulevard, University CityI had seen this on someone elses post on Instagram. I searched locations and none were near me so I forgot about it for a while. It wasnt until we were in St. Louis that I came across it again and I couldnt let the opportunity to try it pass me by.
My husband and I stopped in and it was and amazing atmosphere. A calm and relaxing place. Quiet enough to read a book. it had so many option fo pastries and savory treats. I had such a hard time choosing what I wanted to try because everything looked so good. I ended up picking a few items and my husband another few. Everything I ate was so flavorful and delicately crafted. I fell in love with this place and was sad to know it might be a long time before I could try it again since I live 7 hors away.
Or so I thought until about a week ago I found a location for Tous les Jours an hour and half away from me in Omaha NE 🥹 I was so excited and have plans to try this location in the next few days. Review for that one soon to come.
