Taco Buddha
7405 Pershing Ave, University CityWent here yesterday for the first time and left a little conflicted on how to feel about it. It is the cutest spot and service was exceptional! We ordered skinny margaritas Because we wanted something light and refreshing vs a typical sweet/heavier margarita…. Unfortunately it was still super heavy and sweet and my friend couldn’t even drink his. I ordered a club soda to mix it with, which helped a little and I drank mine! Not bad, just felt more like orange juice with tequila added to it. So if you’re looking for a true skinny- I’d suggest ordering it in a different way. Then he got the Ranch Water drink instead, and that one was super sour/tart so he also didn’t drink that one, buttt, if you like that- try it ?. The tacos we got were good! I think we tried Cali, Galveston, and Bali or something like that. I would’ve loved to see more grilled seafood vs fried (maybe like a blackened fish taco?), but they were still good. I’d go back with an invite, but not sure that I’ll make the choice on my own. It seems like a lot of people really love it though. If you haven’t been, I say you should try it and see for yourself!

Tous les Jours
6681 Delmar Blvd, University CityThe variety of breads, sweet and savory, meant there was something for everyone. The croissants were flaky and buttery.
My strawberry matcha latte was delicious. It wasn’t too sweet. I requested almond milk and it was creamy but without the heaviness that dairy can sometimes have.

Meshuggah Cafe
6269 Delmar Blvd, University CityI literally just left from there. The people were so kind. The man that took my order was very sweet and the lady that made my sandwich told me she would keep me in her prayers. She doesn't even know how much I needed that right now with my health issues. Thank you.
Anyways my sandwich was good. I like a lightly toasted bagel and that's what I got. That everything bagel was not overpowering which is what I wanted and the lox sandwich was great. I will be back for more.
