Gus's Place Dog Store
126 W Lockwood Ave, Webster GrovesI’ve been so excited by the care & concern that is put into the products sold at Gus’s place. Most brands are from small women-owned business, not available on Amazon, & have clear, safe ingredients for dogs. I love Gus’s place & so does my pup, Chase!

Pet Grooming

Shakers Dog Wash and Grooming
9833 Manchester Rd, Webster GrovesLiterally saved me from a night of back pain. The tubs are big and tall enough you arnt hunching over your dog. Every station is set up with multiple shampoos, conditioner, towels, combs, pet wipes, and a place to anchor your dog to the tub in case they try to make an escape (like mine did). Dryers were awesome. They also have aprons so you don’t leave completely covered in dog hair and soap. They let me borrow a happy hoodie to cover my dogs’ ears during his drying session. He even got a milk bone at the end. They have a punch card so you can work your way to a free service. Very clean building.

A'mis Pizza
9824 Manchester Road, Webster GrovesThe place was SUPER pretty! I’m a big fan of the inside.
Food was good, pizza was very good but the fettuccine didn’t really taste like anything, so I would avoid that.
I love when you can tell employees don’t despise their jobs. Both of the waitresses that were there were very nice! I like that they were able to wear comfortable clothes and talk to eachother and the back of house. They seemed to like their job, and when the employees are happy you’re happy. :)

Zushi Sushi and Ramen - S Laclede
1263 S Laclede Station Rd, Webster GrovesI went here for lunch with a group of university friends and we had a pleasant experience. Our waitress was extremely friendly and took our orders efficiently. I ordered the lunch special one roll combo with spicy tuna and crab rangoon, and ordered the OMG roll as well. The only thing was we were charged the 18% gratuity fee for a group of five, which was fine since I also work in a restaurant and can understand, but I would suggest doing it for a group of six or more instead to be reasonable. Overall, it’s a good spot to grab lunch and chat!

The Parkmoor Drive-In
220 West Lockwood Avenue Ste 100, Webster GrovesWe had such a great experience here today that I was genuinely surprised to see some of the lower reviews. I don’t usually write restaurant reviews, but this one made me want to.
Our waiter was attentive, cheerful, and genuinely engaging. When I asked him about the ice cream, he didn’t just point me toward a favorite—he happily walked me through his opinions on all 6 or 7 flavors, which I really appreciated.
I actually had trouble choosing what to order because so much of the menu sounded good. I finally settled on the Black & Blue Burger with fries and loved it. The burger was excellent, and the fries reminded me of a really good steak fry—golden, crispy, and substantial.
I’ve seen some comments about smaller portions and higher prices, but I thought the portions were right-sized, particularly given the quality of the ingredients. The burgers are made with Wagyu beef, and I’d much rather have an appropriately sized portion of high-quality food than a huge portion simply for the sake of size. I finished my meal comfortably full, but not stuffed, and appreciated not taking home leftovers. If you’re looking for a larger meal, there are plenty of appetizers and sides that could easily be added.
I finished with the mint chip ice cream, which was exceptionally creamy with really well-balanced flavors.
I also loved the atmosphere. The muted oranges, greens, reds, and blues in the booths and wall coverings make it feel a little like stepping back into the 1960s or ’70s, and the wall of records outside the bathrooms was such a fun detail.
By the time we left, I’d signed up for the rewards program. There are several things on the menu I still want to try, so we’ll definitely be back.
