βExcellent customer service, take your business here instead of the other locations for hardware. Not knocking them, just saying the staff here were super helpful in comparison to what Iβm used to. The staff deserves recognition for that, Iβve experienced a lot of hardware store staffβ¦ this was what I pray for when Iβm on the road for work. Thanks again guys.β

Let me tell you about my great experience.I needed a new weed eater so I walked into Schnars. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I believe is named Jacob. Not in an aggressive sales way, but more of a helpful greeting.I set my sight on what looked like a pretty good deal, but was kindly directed to an even better deal which would save me money and get me a blower, weed eater, and 2 batteries for a great price, which turned out to be an obvious choice. They threw in a free Echo hat just because they are nice . Honestly, I needed another hat, so I was happy.Turns out I forgot the second battery that came with the set. A few hours later I was SHOCKED to see that the same gentleman showed up to my door step just to personally deliver the battery to me. Who even gives such great customer service anymore?Anyway, I felt compelled to leave this review because Iβve now been there like 10 times and have had a great experience each time.β
βThe little neighborhood hardware stores are always amazing. Though it's a small store, I'm pretty sure they have more products that I'm looking for than the big box stores. Always helpful and super knowledgeable!β
βHey, I wanted to give a big shout out to Jake. This guy goes above and beyond for us. Heβs helped us out on many projects renting out equipment had to come and fix it when itβs broke on his own time. We will continue to buy things and rent things from KK, what a great person to have on their sales teamβ
βSteve was the best. He helped us find a new faucet cartridge for our shower, even gave us a piece of sandpaper to get rid of the calcium buildup. When the cartridge we bought was the wrong fit (our fault) he called a guy he knew at a local plumbing company (Milford Plumbing Supply) to have them find the part we needed and set it aside for us to pick up. AMAZING customer service, loved him. The nice lady at the counter was very helpful too with the return. Overall great experience.β
βAce Hardware is always helpful and knowledgeable when you need that special hardware or fastener to complete a project. Iβve been there countless times for help and Ace Hardware always delivers outstanding service and has had the parts I need.β

βMost helpful, knowledgeable hardware store I have ever experienced. Shop there all the time and have been doing so for years. I can get in and out in a matter of a few minutes. Contrast that to big box stores where you can get your daily walking requirement in before you find what you need or before you can talk to an employee. And most big box employees are not very knowledgeable.β
βGreat store when looking for cabinet or door hardware. Incredible selection and good resource when looking to match existing or historic fixtures. A little pricey but high quality hardware so really depends whatβs important to you. Either way, worth a visit to get ideas and explore options.β

The lumber has been top notch, delivered right to your truck or project.Beyers Lumber has gained a loyal customer. I wish I could keep them my secret weapon, but when somethings this good you need to share it with the world.β
βIf you are looking for equipment, I would recommend seeing Sarah Dunlap at Heavy Duty Equipment. Sarah is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. She knows the equipment and fit your needs to the right piece of equipment. She answered all my questions and made it all easy! We love our new Kubota L2501. Thanks Sarah.β
βJust Around The Corner Wood Floors made the experience so much easier. Wayne Brooks did an excellent job consulting and educating me about the process and dividing the work into two different sections so it would be the least disruptive in my life. Mark, David, Jake, Brian, Dave, Ryan, Todd, and Jacob all worked on the floors for many days. Some of the wood panels had to be replaced. The workers went above and beyond , even putting out food and water for my pets because they knew I wouldnβt be there in the early morning. I would definitely hire them for work in the future!β
βI've only had positive visits here, the employees are kind & helpful & they have fair/good pricing imo. We will be coming here for all of our outdoor & dog needs!β
βStaff is helpful and patient with my questions about various products. I haven't found anywhere in or around St. Louis that has 1/4 of the selection and I know the only hope you may have to beat the prices is rolling the dice online.β
βNot sure what changed at this location, but the customer service today was AMAZING. We had 4 different employees ask if we needed help. They were so friendly. The young man who checked us out was so nice. 5 stars for today's team at Kirkwood Lowes!β
βDecided to stop by here and see if I could get a nice tool set put together for my son for Christmas and this store did not disappoint. I found everything I needed plus some. The staff was very nice and helpful.β
βWe were in town to see a movie and decided to stop here and see if they had a few things I was going to grab tomorrow at my local Loweβs. Conveniently not only did they have what I needed, but the shopping experience was far better than that of our local Loweβs. There were plenty of associates HAPPY to help ! MORE than enough checkouts open! A good selection, well organized store , and very clean. A lot of parking and curb side pickup. Honestly wish we lived closer as this would be my go to option for DIY projects , this stop saved me time and my sanity that I would have otherwise lost going to the Loweβs nearby our house.β
βWe intentionally drive out of our way to go to this hardware store...the cashiers are super friendly and actually work things around to save you money...just bought a battery operated Dewalt weed eater, leaf blower combo, saved $90 for being a rewards member and got to use $20 gift card that we picked up last visit...SCORE!!!!β
βThe staff was super friendly, and even helped me load the soil onto the flat bed cart with me. After I was done checking out, there was a younger lady in the garden area who was told to go on break, and offered to help load the soil in the truck with me, since the guys that usually do it weren't around. I didn't want her to have to go to work while on her break, but she insisted. That kind of work is hard to come by.
Then the guy that usually does it, finally comes out of hiding, and the girl asks him to help. He says yes and even pushes the heavy cart for me to where I parked and loaded it into the truck with me.
I was very impressed with how everyone was working together. That is what I call true teamwork.
I will definitely be coming back to this location.β
βAlmost every worker I passed by today said hi and was very friendly. (It did help that I had my dog with me :) however, they were very kind and respectful of my dog who is still learning how to interact with the general public. My dog got a few treats. Chatted with a worker named Alicia who was very sweet and made me feel welcome. Thankful for kind people!β

βI have used Milford Supply Part Department several times over the years. Very knowledgeable and resourceful in finding replacement parts. The guy at the desk can identify any faucet type and find a fix for it. What lead to this review was the use of the front end of the shop. I needed a better door for our Steam Shower. They found a perfect door and did an outstanding installation, as shown in the picture. Very Happy!β
βThe 5 stars are for Phil in Windows & Doors at the Fenton, Mo store. Phil helped my wife & I today with several items (spent $555.00) in multiple departments none of which were Windows & Doors. I know he saved us at least an hour if not more time in the store. If Lowes had him training they would have more 'on the ball' employees. Home Depot & Menards would be wise to hire him away and put him in charge. Thanks Phil!β
