“Personally I'm into grocery stores like this where things are expired. Think of them as aged to perfection. We usually frequent places like this that are Amish and this one is definitely not so you'll have all the benefits of lighted aisles and frozen stuff.Very large selection of literally everything you could possibly want in a modern grocery store. They everything from frozen food, to candy and soda, light bulbs, feminine hygiene products and plastic utensils.They do accept credit cards too, but cash is still an option. We weren't sure on the way in so we brought both. And not everything is expired either. Almond milk was still good for another 6 months and even if chips are expired as long as the bag isn't open you know they're going to be fine. I only regret it is not bringing a cooler because we live an hour away and we had to skip all the cold items. Highly recommended and I will return.”

“Nice & friendly service; well stocked market. The fresh meat dept. is great and has a varied selection. Plenty of fresh produce reasonably priced. Dairy products are reasonably priced as well. The deli counter also includes a hot items section. There's a seating section to enjoy your hot items before you leave the store. The market has been in business for decades and has EVERYTHING...”
“We Absolutely Love to Shop at our New Local Aldi!The store is spacious and bright.The produce section has a wonderful variety and everything is always fresh.The Cheese section is very diverse. We love the white cheddar cranberry cheese that can be found here.The meat has always been fresh and looks great.The store is kept clean.The customer service is great too! Everyone is friendly and willing to help.Prices are great!I really like the parking lot. It has a large crosswalk that makes navigation with my children easier.I highly recommend this establishment.”
“These ladies in there are everything. They truly care about their customers. I've had my whole own day (a bad one) and the lady at the window could see it in my eyes, could see I had just got done crying, she offered me and hug and was just insanely kind. “Wow! First time here, for we were Glamping in St. Clair. A lovely lady in the bakery witnessed me looking through all the cookies. She asked if I needed help, told her I was looking for chocolate chip. She helped me look and we both decided they were all out. I went about my shopping. She tracked me down and found a package in the back and wanted me to have them. When you think Customer service is almost gone you find someone like her who makes your whole day!”
“The Emporium is a delightful place to shop. Additionally, Kayla, went more than the exta mile in trying to help me locate a B&B room for the night. She graciously placed several phone calls for me before finally finding an opening at a lovely B&B in Agusta.The Emporium is a must shop stop in Augusta, MO. “Good store but as usual not enough employees. Dollar General corporate needs to rethink the staffing. Way to much time spent waiting for the one cashier on a busy Saturday afternoon.”

I really wish their Wi-Fi worked better as the internet's very hard to get there. Also. The shelf check outs do not allow paper coupons which is really ridiculous. And some won't even allow paper coupons at all. I gave the good score solely for the people that work at Dollar general.”

“Largest Dollar General store I've seen in the St. Louis and surrounding areas. Exceptionally clean and tidy (A week before Christmas) in comparison to most stores at all times of the year. Employees are friendly and helpful.”

The sad fact is in a lot of places, these stores are often the only store for miles ...with their , sometimes inadequate.”

“No place better for chocolate. Always clean and well lit. And as far as Dollar general goes the only Dollar general I've seen in a 30 mi radius, which is a hell of a lot because I go to Dollar general when it's the closest place and it's always the closest place because they're everywhere, the only better stocked Dollar general I've seen is robertsville Missouri. That Dollar General gets 6*. I haven't seen one yet that is below 4*.”
