Pet Care
Warrenton Vet Clinic
717 East Booneslick Road, WarrentonLast week I had to make the hardest decision, but the right decision, to put my dog Dallas AKA Dilly Dill, down due to a sudden illness. I knew he was suffering and I couldn't put him through prolonging the inevitable. We met with Dr. Jill Jacobsmeyer early Thursday morning. She examined Dilly and spelled out all of our options. We told her we had already come to terms with letting him go and we were ready to give our loving boy some peace. As my husband and I stood by Dallas, petting him and giving him kisses and snuggles, Dr. Jill was so gentle and professional. She never rushed us and after a few minutes I asked her if he was being stubborn and still holding on. She said No, his heart stopped a few minutes ago but I didn't have the heart to stop you from loving him. She stood there with us letting us tell her how I rescued him from a bad situation and all of the love he had in his life because he was in a safe place. Dr. Jill had tears in her eyes and cried alongside us. She said that it is so beautiful to see a rescue have so much love in their life considering where his life started. I was so touched that Dr. Jill showed us that Warrenton Vet Clinic is not so stiff or without emotion. They are a group of doctors and staff that care for each pet that walks into that door no matter what they are coming in for. Be it a regular check up or for their final breath, they are professional yet personal, the clinic is always clean, and i have always felt heard during my pets appointments. I never felt like I was being rushed or just treated like a money bag when we were helping our boy over the rainbow bridge. I am forever grateful for the kindness and emotions that were shared during his passing. Rest easy my sweet boy, until we meet again.

aaCanine Country Club
25698 State Hwy 47, WarrentonTheir place is so clean and such a friendly environment. The lady and gentleman that run it are very big animal lovers and definitely take pride in their business . My dog normally has very bad anxiety when I leave but he enjoyed his own space and could walk outside to his part of the yard whenever he wanted . The price is very affordable and they take dogs and cats and also have other services they offer . Next time I have to go out of town I'll be taking BluBear back to them and maybe even our cats .. if give 10 stars if I could !
