Jack and the team here were so helpful and patient with me. “I called up to this place over my lunch hour asking if I should drop my car off first thing in the morning to get an ID/OD and emissions test (the answer I was given by 2 other places). I was asked if I could swing by during my lunch hour, and less than half an hour from the time I called, it was finished. Very happy with their service.”
“Phenomenal work at a very competitive price. I got only my hood repainted as it was previously scuffed up bad from years of neglect and living under the hot Arizona sun, so don’t judge the rest of the front end in the photo. They only painted the hood per my request.
The finished work far exceeded my expectations, and especially for the cost. The shop also did a great job getting my truck in and out the door from the time I scheduled an appointment. Do be patient as they have a steady flow of customers. “Brief history: I've known and have been going to Charlie for what seems to be 40 years, (way back when he lived in a mobile home with a detached 3 car garage off Camp Jackson Rd in Cahokia) Always A+ experience doing business with CCC. Took my Sierra in to have them remove the aged & defected body molding off the doors. It was done expeditiously and you cannot even tell, (see picture) that there was ever side molding on it! Very reasonable cost too!”
“Shur way auto is a sure way to get not good but GREAT service! Shopped around a bit, even went to the dealership, before finding Shur-way to not only have what I needed at the time, got it to me faster, for the best deal !!!
I got my window busted out… twice. Because you know.. St. Louis 😂 any ways I needed my glass replaced fast. And Shur way took care of me by getting the glass ASAP and making time in their schedule to get it installed.

“Great service and the front counter people are super helpful! Took my car up originally to get an estimate as the other driver wanted to pay out of pocket. They did a free estimate and did it quickly. Once we decided the other party would have to go through insurance, I went to take it up for another estimate. They didn't need to do another estimate, took the car in that day, worked with the other insurance to cover the damages, and kept me updated throughout the process. They also offer a shuttle of sorts to get to the nearest Enterprise or Hertz for a rental car if needed, and then you bring the rental back to Enterprise and get dropped back at Carstar. All of them are super friendly and very helpful, and I would absolutely recommend this auto body shop.”

“Nick and Randy worked on my 1969 Karmann Ghia and did an excellent job. They installed a new engine and transmission. The front and rear bodywork and painting give the car a glossy factory sheen. They fixed other sundry things such as fixing the speedometer and installing a new engine latch and painting the engine compartment, which looks fantastic. I highly recommend Nick and the crew at Bruhy Body and Paint.”

“These people seriously rock. My 2013 Buick’s side mirror had a run in with a pole and needed to be replaced. I called and got quoted by 2 other shops. Nearly 1k each quote. I called Eric at J&R and they got me fixed up for 300 bucks. They were extremely responsive and kind. They even tossed in a free headlight that had recently gone out with all of the winter storms. If I could give a 100/10 I would. Thank you guys for giving honest quotes and not inflating the price for quality work. Shops like this are hard to come by nowadays.”

Trevor and the other friendly staff at Ernie Patti made a frustrating experience less difficult by keeping us fully informed from start to finish. The car looks immaculate, even with the complexity of the Metallic Gray paint color which requires a 4-stage paint process. If needed, we will definitely return to Ernie Patti for future repairs.”

“I wanted a ceramic coating for my car. I gave it to Thomas who operates Shine Time. The paint needed attention. Thomas used a clay bar treatment to remove the embedded dirt, sap, and tar. He then applied the ceramic coating. He had the car for three days. He sent me pictures of the car as he progressed.
The car is a 2020 model year and it sits outside. I am pleased with the results. Water beads off the hood and roof. No dirt sticks to the finish.
Go to his shop if you want to be extreemly pleased. See the photo of my car in his shop at pick up!!!”

“I am a VERY skeptical and observant person and the landscaping alone of Central Auto Body caught my attention BEFORE I even needed them. The upkeep of their area especially during the holidays brings a loving harmony to the neighborhood that I greatly appreciate. So, when my car took ill to a hit and run, I have to admit that I was actually happy to have the honored opportunity to meet the people who operated there, even if it was at my loss. And BOY was I correct! You can judge this book by its cover!!!
Taking my vehicle to Central Auto Body was like taking a loved one to a caring hospital. Without going into the careful, thorough, intimate excellent work that they did in a very timely manner, I first want to thank Rick for holding my hand through the process with daily updates, messages, and responses like a kind doctor walking a loved one through surgery on a parent. Rick explained everything that they found in detail to me including when the mechanics would find more damage that wasn't seen. They didn't rush the work at all. They assured that to get every single thing that was affected by the hit and run my poor Kristina (lol) suffered, all the way down to the bones. I felt VERY comfortable as my care set under their care.
Additionally, AFTER repairs were complete, they cleaned her up to be presentable for pick-up and Rick came out to walk me through all that had been done. THIS is the place to take your car if you want it cared for by people who understand a car lover's love!”
