For example, very few places I have visited in the past for oil changes took the time to reset the indicator, especially on my older Malibu, which requires pumping the brake pedal a certain number of times after turning on the car. At Rider's, as soon as they pulled the car around, I saw the mechanic do this. It is an archaic way to reset something and not obvious to anyone unless they have worked with this model before AND care enough to actually do it. I really appreciated that.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
