“I took my vehicle to MasterTech in August 2025 for a timing belt replacement. About a year later, my vehicle developed a rattle. I took it to the dealer who had done some recent work on the emissions system that was still under warranty. I thought this rattle was related to that repair. However, the dealer diagnosed it to the timing belt components. I brought the vehicle back to Mike who had several timing belt components replaced under warranty, at no cost to me, and without any opposition. We agreed for him to keep the vehicle for several days to make sure the stubborn rattle was fixed. The rattle persisted and Mike eventually discovered it was indeed related to the earlier emissions work done by the dealer. Mike fixed the rattle and he was amazing throughout this process. He took his time discovering the source of the rattle and explaining possible causes and he even put the vehicle on the rack to show me everything.
Well done, Mike, and the team at MasterTech.”

“Had a tire get a hole in the sidewall on the way to work. Limped into their parking lot at 10:30 without an appointment. As my tires were due to be replaced, I decided to get an entire set. John researched tires for my car and provided a recommendation. I went with it, left the car with them, and went to work. By 4:00 they were done. As soon as I pulled away, I could tell these tires felt better than my old ones.
These guys are getting to be my go-to place for tires and suspension.

“I don’t usually write reviews for major mechanical work until I’ve had time to make sure everything holds up, and this shop absolutely deserves one.
Last November, they replaced the transmission in my vehicle. This was no small job—they tracked down the correct transmission for my car, had it shipped all the way from California, removed the old transmission, installed the replacement, and had me back on the road in about three weeks. From start to finish, they kept me informed and made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with.
A few weeks ago, I had another scare when my check engine light came on. Naturally, I brought it right back because they’ve earned my trust. They diagnosed the issue and found that the code was related to an electronic component that had been transferred over from the original transmission—not something they had caused. They explained everything clearly and recommended that my first step should be to have Infiniti update the TCU. They even told me that if the update didn’t solve the problem, they would be happy to work with me afterward to find the next best solution.
What really amazed me was what happened next. Since they knew I would likely have to pay another diagnostic fee at the dealership, they completely waived theirs. They didn’t have to do that, but they did, and that level of honesty and customer care is incredibly rare.
This wasn’t my first great experience with them, either. When I originally needed the transmission replaced, they saved me nearly $2,000 compared to another quote I had received while still doing the job the right way.
The entire team has always treated me like a person instead of just another ticket. They understand how stressful major car repairs can be, and they genuinely care about helping their customers instead of just selling repairs.
Because of how they treated me, I stopped back by the shop with pizza and drinks for the crew. It was the least I could do to thank them for everything they had done. That’s the kind of impression they leave on people.
I can honestly say they’ve earned a customer for life. I’ll continue bringing my vehicles here, and I’ll confidently recommend them to my friends and family. If you’re looking for a shop that’s honest, knowledgeable, fair, and genuinely cares about its customers, I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“We had damage to the tailgate of our 2016 Tacoma pickup and brought it to Schaefer for an insurance estimate. We had previous experience with Schaefer on another vehicle and were very happy with the results, so we didn’t consider any other repair facility.

May ne still under dunlop oem warranty of some kind. Prompt and courteous services offered indeed, otherwise my long labor weekend would be another totally different story with cancelled trips or plans.”

“Exceptional service by really nice people. We had a flat on the way to Eminence on a Thursday afternoon. A good samaritan named Mike (shoutout to Mike!) pulled over to help a car full of ladies with their spare tire installation. Mike told us to follow him to his friend’s tire shop in Pacific. We followed him to Bay’s and we were very satisfied with the service we received. It was fast, efficient and affordable to purchase a new replacement tire. “I can’t say enough great things about Old Town Automotive! I originally went in to have new tires put on my camper, but while I was dropping it off, the starter on my Nissan Armada decided to die. What could have turned into a stressful situation was made so much easier because of the incredible team there.
Everyone was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and genuinely helpful. They quickly ordered the part I needed and had my starter replaced in a timely manner. Since my vehicle was already there, I also had them install a brake controller for towing my camper, and they did an outstanding job.
