After reading through some of the reviews here it saddens me that others would give a low rating to the credit union when in fact its their lack of reading the print in front of them that led to their issues. Everything with this credit union is up front and openly displayed. Reading is fundamental. “I just moved my accounts to Opportunity Bank as well as closed on a loan with them.
Most recently, I had a situation that turned out to be quite complex. The various factors included a legal name change for us that complicated moving funds from my prior bank out of a trust account there (in our prior legal name) — which I had already closed after receiving a check from them –into Opportunity Bank… where I did NOT have a trust account and certainly didn’t want to open up, nor could I open up , a new trust account in my old, now legally invalid name.

“I would give this place 100 stars if I could. After a fraudulent incident at my previous bank and having to unexpectedly close my account, I had to switch banks immediately and as quick as possible. After some research, I came upon Valley Credit and was drawn in by all the positive reviews. I came in at like 4:45PM (they close at 5:30PM) and was afraid they wouldn't have time to open me an account. They did and it was an amazing experience. Kerby made it a cake walk and explained everything so simply and had me on my way in like 20-30 minutes. Absolute angel that saved my very stressful day!”
