“This is seriously the best hotel I have stayed at in a while! The staff was super nice and accommodating to all my needs. I have a semi truck that I was able to park here. They have FREE laundry services which is huge and a heated pool. Plus the view outside this hotel…breathtaking! Will definitely be staying here again!”
“The Lamplighter is a wonderful place to stay! Check in and out was a breeze! My cabin was beautiful!!! Very clean, cozy, and charming!!! All the conveniences of home!!! The only thing is I wish there was an antenna to watch local channels. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again!”

“Great stay for my family and I.
Clean room, EXCELLENT customer service from EVERYONE we came in contact with; Especially the staff working breakfasts; Earl radiating his kindness and cheer.
Breakfast was very good. Our celiac son had enough gluten free choices for him to be full.
Gym was good to get in a quick workout before jumping into the pool which was immediately next door.
This hotel is in a great location. Everything we did in town during our stay was 10 minutes away at a maximum. And there is shopping within walking distance; Albertson’s, Famous Footwear, Lowe’s, Ross, Old Navy, Target.
Definitely recommend.”
“Great experience. Hotel is more dated than some but clean and the rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and bathrooms have good space and tub and showers. Staff were great and supportive with our kids. Location is close to airport and proximal to most of Helena.”

“Great staff, super clean, amazing location and nice breakfast on my 4 night stay. Only downside - and there is nothing that the staff can do as this relates to how the property was constructed - is very thin walls. I could hear one neighbor coughing and another neighbor sneezing in the rooms on each side of me. I could also hear one neighbor using the bathroom. Obviously your experience will vary depending on who is in the rooms next to you but having a white noise app or ear plugs is highly recommended. Shopping, dining, fuel, the airport and downtown Helena are all within a 5 to 10 minute drive so a perfect location!”

“Stayed here 2 nights during our cycling tour. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and we didn't notice any noise between rooms. There are laundry facilities on site. There is coffee available from the office in the morning. Office staff is very friendly and helpful.
It is on historic Last Chance Gulch Road and within walking distance to many restaurants.”
“We have stayed here four times over the past 5 years, each time on our way back from Glacier NP. They have a great popcorn cart in the lobby which keeps us coming back. The popcorn is as good as it is at the movies!
Our only negative comment in our prior years staying here was that the breakfast offerings were not very good. Now, however, they have a hot breakfast offering which includes eggs (prepared how you like), breakfast meat selection, hash browns, and toast /pancakes. It was really quite good! Also, the internet speed is amazingly fast. We will definitely be returning on our next trip back here!”
“Great hotel run by Marriott. The staff were very friendly and check in/out was very easy without any hassle. The rooms are extremely clean and modern. The best part of this hotel was the fully stocked bar with its outstanding bartenders. The prices were very in line with other places in Helena. Good fitness center.”
“I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to after such lovely service. Myself and three other people stayed here together when stopping in Helena along our thru hike of the Continental Divide Trail. We did not book expecting a Ritz - given our current adventure, a real bed and a hot shower was luxury enough. Onsite laundry was a fun bonus for us and the hotel otherwise served its purpose. What made it special for us was Jason! Thru hikers can occasionally be a loud and stinky crew, and while we try our best to rein it in when spending time “in civilization”, we still can be a bit enthusiastic and excitable when in town. Jason worked with a smile on his face to accommodate us with all of our requests: storing our packs and gear so we could get groceries, early check in for desperately needed showers, laundry soap, you name it… He was friendly and kind and did not make us feel like a burden. The Fairfield Inn is not a usual hiker stop in this town but for folks looking for a quick break from the hiker bubble and a more comfortable place to stay, I will absolutely be recommending they consider this location based on Jason’s great service alone. Thank you for making our stay so great!”

“Very pretty hotel in a great location. Check in was easy and quick. Rooms were very clean and had a little balcony overlooking town center with a lovely water feature. There was lots of restaurants within very short walking distance. We had a mini fridge in the roon that didnt have a freezer, we spoke to the main desk and they allowed us to use thier freezer and store our items which was very nice. Parking lot is a short walk away which isnt convenient but it was well secured. Would stay here again.”
