“This store had plenty of vintage and recycled clothing and accessories that was all very high quality! The staff was extremely helpful too! The store was very clean and laid out very well. Their displays were set up very well, much better than more well-known high-end stores like Macy's or Dillard's. The store is also bigger inside than it seems like it is from the outside with a lot of really cool things to choose from! I'm sorry that I didn't take pictures of this store. I wasn't intending on doing a review.”

“Had a great time at the Build a Book Nook Class with Andrea! It also happened to be Fourth Friday, I was able to enjoy some food (Philly steak rolls) before class and walk through the galleries after class. ? (As far as dining before a class or event, make sure to give yourself at least 60 minutes. I was cutting it close ordering 45 minutes before class with a possible 40 minute wait, luckily my food got to me in under 35 minutes and I had enough time to eat) CB is lucky to have this space in our community!”
“South Omaha #154 is a great place. They offer a great selection of drinks and cocktails, all priced in a way that won’t break anyone‘s bank. They host food nights and a monthly Sunday breakfast that is open to the public. These events raise money for various health and community charities. The social room is available for rent and is often used for celebration of life gatherings, sweet 16 parties, baby showers, live music with Sunday chicken dinner, and the list goes on. League play is available for darts, pool and shuffleboard. The smoking patio has a beautiful garden and is very comfortable no matter the season.”

“The staff are great. The only complaint is it is a bit rundown and the evening childcare is always closed making it hard to workout in the evenings after work. If you have a child you have to use another facility. This has been a problem for months due to staffing issues.”
“As a UNO student, this is an amazing gallery I have had to attend for events pertaining to my major. Very clean and spacious, with live events and food provided. While I understand it is something that they cannot control, I believe parking is the only issue I can find. Very limited parking leads to difficulty entering the gallery, especially on opening nights. Otherwise, it is a great gallery that I would recommend visiting if you want to see local artists at work.”

“This is one of the better Goodwill stores that I've been too. We stopped off to donate items left in our daughter's new house and then decided to go in for a look. “We go to the Kroc for our son’s swim lessons through All Inclusive Aquatics. All the staff are so friendly and their indoor pool area is a hit with our toddler. They have multiple swim lanes, a lazy river, volleyball net, large slide and a play area for the smaller kiddos.”

“Buddha Maitreya the Christ is Jesus. This is the Person I met on the other side when in 1997, I had a “near death experience”. (Pictured below, smiling in burgundy is exactly how he appeared to me.) It’s more common for people in the East to recognize his other past incarnations; they are more aware of the fact of incarnation. In my experience, he does nothing but caring and sharing. His main teaching is about charity. In 2021, He invited my friend Anne and I to stay at Shambhala Retreat Center (pictured below) at no charge, for a whole month, and treated us to train ride from Omaha to Northern California! From my 20+ years of studying with him, my lifelong depression is finally gone and I am happy for the first time.

“This organization has a very worthy cause of giving to with the goal being a nurse in every Omaha Shelter. I have gone to their Art & Soup event several years in a row (usually held in early March) and it is one of my favorite annual events. “Visited Croatian Cultural Society Hall for the roast pork, dumplings and kraut dinner. There was a large turnout, with the line snaking out into the parking lot, but the volunteers got everyone through quickly. The food was great, and the portions were generous.”
