“Came here to find a bolt my husband wanted and after orileys wouldn't even look the bolt up and told me to leave I was referred here by someone at Napa. And the two gentlemen that helped me were so nice and beyond helpful. And talked to my husband in the phone and got me everything without any hassle. There were so knowledge and were wanting to help. I'd highly recommend coming here first. And they should have a raise.”

“Menards is usually a fairly quick shopping experience. The 11% rebate is nice. And, there are so many things other than DIY stuff. This trip I got a large bag of wild bird seed, salted in the shell peanuts, and double stick tape. Lots of variety.”

“I needed a special type of connector plus a few other things. I was at their Elkhorn store late in the afternoon. The gentleman there was incredibly helpful and kind. He took care to understand what I needed and went out of his way to make sure that I really had the best solution to the problem. He also worked to make the materials as affordable as possible. I certainly won't shop anywhere else for electrical needs. Thank you!”

“The store staff at the Gretna store does a great job answering questions. I had a UPS return, and they were able to help. The store also has a good selection of miscellaneous small parts to help complete most home projects.”

“Great selection of wood and tools. The wood is fair though the tools seem to be a at market price of all the box box retailers. The folks inside are all actual woodworkers and ready to lend a helpful ear or offer suggestions.”

“Employees at this ace hardware on 144th and center went above and beyond to help me today! Needed some help getting an old, rusted screw out of my car so I could replace my license plate. I went and asked if anyone could help me get the stuck screw out of my car, and one of the employees (didn’t catch his name) came out to help me. Stood out in the cold with me for 20 minutes and managed to get one of the screws out after bringing out tons of tools. When he couldn’t get the second, he pointed me to another place I could go to help get the other screw out. As a young woman whose dad passed away a few years ago, I didn’t have anyone else that could help me fix this issue. This employee’s kindness and generosity meant the world to me. I was brought to tears by his willingness to help someone in need during such a stressful time. I can’t say thank you enough!”

“APPLIANCE DEPT. Called in Saturday after being shooed away from Lowe’s saying the don’t deliver to West Point (lie). We spoke with a guy who said he wasn’t sure and would call us back.I decided to go in while I waited for the call back and ended up speaking with such a helpful and kind older gentleman. He really was wonderful. I asked him if they would deliver to West Point. He got up, grabbed the barcode off of an appliance and asked our zip code and assured us that they did in-fact deliver. While speaking to him, the man we were on the phone came up to a blonde woman also at the appliance area, at the desk right behind where the gentleman’s was. He asked her if they would deliver out to West Point and she immediately said “NO. THIRTY MILES”. I was trying to get his attention as he was less than 10ft from me to tell him…it was me that called and lady…YES YOU DO. He walked away and called me back 5 minutes later and told him..”I heard you speaking with the woman, I was right there and she told you wrong. Thanks for your time though”.Idk why all of these improvement stores are shooing people away. If it’s out of laziness or lack of knowledge and communication, but it was very frustrating.1. That older gentleman with the one dilated pupil and the shiny silver watch needs a raise and some serious appreciation. He went out of his way to help us. Being older, he actually got his rear end up out of that seat, while the younger ones just sat there looking down.2. USE THIS MAN AS A MODEL OF WHAT YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE LIKE AND TRAIN THEM AS SUCH3. Get everyone on the same page. I should not be told conflicting information, nor should any other shopper getting ready to spend a serious amount of money at your establishment.4. Have your appliance employees run the model online and to the zip code. SHOPPERS- if you go somewhere like Lowe’s or HDepot…if they tell you they don’t deliver…get online and punch your zip in. Bet they do. SHOW THEM.”

“I stopped by Ferguson Plumbing Supply to try to find a supply line for a 17 year old Kohler faucet. Everyone was helpful. They called around and determined it was discontinued. Drew, in particular, went above and beyond spending time with me and brainstorming ideas in the hope that I would not need to buy a whole new faucet just because a supply line leaked. I really appreciate Drew's knowledge and customer service.”

“Best 'all things' door hardware in Omaha with outstanding customer support and on site service technicians! Jay Grabow, the store manager, has several decades of experience in locksets, hinges, and bathroom hardware. He prides himself on guiding his customers to the best value and quality decisions for door design considerations in their home. Jay and his team help me select the right door hardware and hinges throughout our home and installed them expertly. Twelve years later, the 'most used door in the house' lockset fails. I contact Jay for a replacement and installation. He advises me that he will contact the manufacturer and ordered a free replacement lockset, I did not know I had a lifetime warranty. Next, I requested installation service call and Jay informed me that installation was very simple and that I could do the work myself. He saved me about $250 in purchasing a new door lockset and installation cost! I highly recommended shopping with Jay for all door hardware needs!”

“People here are generally pretty helpful and take you to the things you ask about, now if only they could read my mind so I don't have to come back 3 times for the things I keep forgetting lol. But overall it's pretty ok.”

“I don’t have anything against Lowe’s but I am someone that prefers to shop at Home Depot. However, I will only be getting my paint here from now on. The older gentleman with glasses (I can’t believe I forgot his name) really knows his stuff when it comes to matching colors and giving advice and his customer service is incredible. I’ve never had a match come closer to his. I came in once at 8:50 when they closed at 9. 9:15 rolls around and he’s insisting he gets it exactly right for me. When he’s finally finished he says feel free to bring it back and he can make tiny adjustments if needed. I also wasn’t charged for the poor color match another associate did a week prior. It was an exact match and I was happy I didn’t have to paint the entire room again. Lowe’s also partners with Sherman Williams so they can match their colors as well as Valspar.”

“Located off of Industrial/L Street and 120th, parking was no issue today. Staff provided the help to find the right aisle for paint brushes and portable gas containers. Prices were very reasonable, and even though checkout took a while due to a distracted clerk who didn't see us at checkout 4, everything else was pretty good at this Home Depot.”

“This was a great visit to Home Depot. I needed 8 eighteen inch long handrails ADA approved for a lab room setting. When I entered, an employee was standing at near the doors greeting people and asking if we needed assistance? My first question dealt with NE exemptions for state sales tax and he said the cashier would be able to handle this. The second question was locating the handrails which he replied 'aisle 8'. He probably saved me 10 minutes of walking through the aisles. Once I arrived with 8 handrails at the check-out, he asked if I registered my exemption card with Home Depot and the answer was no. Instead of pulling me out of line and making me stand in a customer service area, he handled everything quickly, trouble shooting questions the computer was flagging. I was able to receive the tax exemption within 45 seconds without upsetting people waiting behind me in the line. 5 stars for the employees at this Home Depot and 5 stars for Home Depot training their employees to be compassionate and helpful to new customers like myself.”

“Just wanted to send a thank you to Creighton who was working in the lumber/contractor area yesterday ( 2-24). It's not often you see the type of customer service Creighton provides these days. Even though my project was not the biggest I've undertaken, Creighton was very helpful in finding me exactly what I needed with concern for my budget. Great job.”
