My car just crossed over the 100k mark so I wanted to have a trustworthy mechanic to get as much life out of my car as possible. I did some research and I got an oil change somewhere else at first and they gave me a pretty expensive quote after an inspection that I was a little dubious of.I wanted to get another opinion and my gf recommended I see Harold at GH Auto Repair. It turned out there were some things that needed replaced on my car, but the other company had those items priced much higher, and they also had additional things in the quote that weren't necessary.It's super refreshing to find an honest mechanic who does timely and very high quality work, especially in an industry that can be as shady as Automotive work. He suspected that the problem was something out of the scope of the services that they provide and recommended the next steps that I can take to fix the issue. I appreciate that Tyler W was honest and didn't try to sell things that I didn't need. There was also no charge for inspection.”

These guys were SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper to get a transmission rebuild on a 6L90 with upgrades components. Thanks Nick for having it done in 4 days way faster than I thought. Truck shifts smoother than when it was new. They also have a better warranty than what certified offered me. You will be the only shop doing any transmission work for my company. Thanks again”

“Older suburban had problem with the torque converter lockup. They repaired the transmission and it is as new again. Cost was reasonable and unlike others they did not try to sell me a new transmission for 1000’s of dollars.

Initial experience was frustrating due to communication issues and the car returning with similar symptoms shortly after a major repair. However, Omaha Car Care did take the vehicle back, identified an issue related to the prior repair area, and corrected it at no additional cost. They also provided a loaner vehicle during that time.
The process was not smooth from start to finish, but I do appreciate that they ultimately worked to make things right. The vehicle is now driving much better”
