“They have Mama's Kimchi. Nobody else has some of those super-foods and health supplements! Great produce section. Great meat section. Great cheese section! I mean, you love cheese, right? Why wouldn't you check that out? Also, the Friday morning 6am deli staff are super-friendly and accommodating, even if I need a chicken-fried steak and eggs. And the bakery glazed-croissants are crack-cocaine for a carb lover! (great cake-decorating, too!).”

“A good resource for some of Grand Island's ethnic minorities as well as for everyone else. It's truly amazing the variety of goods that is packed into this interesting little store. The people running it are so helpful and have good hearts. It's always a pleasure to engage them in conversation. Have purchased a few types of beans (small red & garbanzos) that are both of good quality. They even had some Frankincense resin that I wanted as well, and one cannot find this just anywhere. The gentleman helping me said his name is Adam, a pleasure to have met him. Don't be shy, nothing to fear here. Stop on in and see what you've been missing. Am certain you'll find something here that you can use.”

“The employees are very friendly. Be ready to wait in lines though. The staff not only checks at registers, but they have to gather carts, unbox product and stock the shelves. Be kind, they work hard and this is the corporate approach to keeping prices low. The store is older but clean and most items are in their correct place and prices are easy to see. Parking lot is full of pot holes so drive carefully. Not the fault of employees. Overall the best and most convenient discount store in the area. Beats battling the Walmart crowd if your just out to grab a few essentials (basic food items, pop, milk, juices etc). Good selection of snacks, treats, paper products, cleaning and pet supplies, over the counter medicines, school supplies, cheap toys, pet supplies, and personal care items. Again, super friendly staff that are always working really hard.”

“Driving across the West and our car blew a tire. Saturday afternoon and can you guess who was open so we could buy a new one? No one near us! And then others didn't have the right size tire. In desperation I called Walmart just to see if they could help. Sure enough they had the tire in stock and were working that afternoon. Whew! With donut tire in place, we worked our way there and had our new tire in less than an hour. Friendly folks and a new tire changed our outlook as we went on our way. Thanks for the great service.”

“I really like Chinese, and with the cold weather right now, I don't much feel up to a buffet at a restaurant. I came to shop anyway, so got a plate of the $9.99 Chef's Special which was 2 entrees, 2 appetizers and choice of rice. Very good. Very tasty.”

“Had an issue with our trailer tire that we bought just a few days prior from a different Walmart store on our way through moving. The lady we talked to in the auto care center called Alehandro, the auto car center manager, to come look at it, who then called Jordan, the store manager, and after talking with both of them replaced the tire and had a second one available for us to purchase for another one that was going flat. Wonderful bunch of gentlemen and have no problems coming back the next time we're in town thank you so much for getting us back on the road.”

“I am very happy that this market is here in Grand Island. The wife and I moved here from Kearney a couple of years ago and with no Asian market located in Kearney we typically drove to Lincoln or Omaha to do our shopping.This market however has a very wide variety of items, so much so that we've only made 1 trip this year to Lincoln. My wife is Chinese and cooks me a wide variety of delicious meals and it is nice that we can get almost everything we need right here at home.”
