“Easy to work with Credit Union. I’ve had some car loans through them and have had a good experience with their service. Sheyenne Summers has helped me with great personal care. She follows up and matches rates. Makes me a priority when I need help and answers all my questions. Even when a load is paid up on still checks in, so I’m not just an after thought once a sale is made. When I go to a branch I encounter friendly staff, that makes me feel like I never left my house. The competitive dividends on their accounts, are great, but what really makes the difference is the people/customer service.
Justin at the 84th street branch, recently resolved a(self inflicted) issue with my debit card that was causing headaches for over a month. He was able find the issue, and have a solution in less than a day. You’ll receive a quicker, and much more focused response from Liberty First than you would a larger national bank, or chain bank. They’ve always picked up the phone, and provided a solution that day for any issues.
Justin was also able to answer all my questions, and then some about the Liberty+ credit card, after shopping around a bit, it made too much sense to go with them.
Rates for loans, and credit cards beat any issuer I’ve found In Lincoln Nebraska by far. I can’t praise the return rates on the kasasa accounts, and Liberty+ enough!”
“My husband and I have been members here for over a decade, myself over 2 decades. I would give 5 stars however, if you need to go on a Saturday, make sure you go EARLY. Regardless of who is in the lines and how long they have been waiting, once the clock hits 12:00pm noon, they shut down. My husband and I were waiting behind a vehicle for almost 10 minutes, it turned 12:00pm, we were thinking that since we were in line before noon they would finish helping those in line. They did not. So, lesson learned, if you need to go on a Saturday, make sure you are there well in advance.”
