“If I could give it 6 stars, I would! I almost didn’t want to write this review because honestly, a hidden gem this good makes you want to keep it a selfish little secret. But credit is due where credit is definitely earned. From start to finish, our stay at The Kindler was absolute perfection. It’s a gorgeous boutique hotel with top-tier attention to detail, a welcoming atmosphere, and a level of hospitality that is hard to find these days. And let’s talk about the bar—unreal. The bartenders slinging drinks there are some of the most baller mixologists I’ve encountered in a long time. Incredible vibes, expertly made cocktails, and top-notch service all around. Lincoln, you’ve got a serious winner here. Do yourself a favor and book a room, just... maybe don't tell *too* many people about it. 😉🍸✨”

“We spent a night at this location..we were checked in and out by Deavante...who did a great job. He made sure our booking was correct and was very thorough. He's definitely an asset to the Holiday Inn corporation. The room was very clean but our bed was pretty hard and the shower lacked water pressure...plus the weekend rates are pretty expensive.....otherwise..the breakfast was good as was the hotel's location. We may consider staying here..the next time we visit Lincoln.”

“I stay in Lincoln often for Businesss and have stayed at this hotel several times. Always clean, well managed and nice amenities. The only downside is the lack of decent coffee. Every morning I feel I need to drive down the street to get a decent cup of coffee not from an instant coffee machine.”

“Door dash restaurants was nearby and fast during our stay. Walmart is across the street literally a two minute drive. Staff was excellent during check in. King suite was perfect for our stay and the shower had great water pressure. Kids really liked the pool as well. Location is great about 20 minutes from Memorial stadium. Price is on the premium end but just being a rewards member helps. I would stay again and would recommend if it's on the budget. Booked through hotels.com.”

“The door of our room broke. So we changed rooms. The next room, the bed by the outside wall was right up ne t to the AC/heater, so it was not an area that got vacuumed. Yuck. The plus side, this was not a place that had kids running up n down the hallways, so it was quite.”

“I wish all hotel chains were like this. Everything about the experience was outstanding (breakfast was a bit sparse, but that doesn’t matter to me as much). Clean, well kept, comfortable, ample, great mattress, quiet location. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and considerate at 1am when we arrived, automatically making sure that we got the quietest room in the position that best suited our needs (things I usually have to specifically request). That level of care at 1am from someone who is doing a 12 hour overnight shift is rare. The windows opened on the second floor for fresh air, which we didn’t even really need as it was the best smelling chain hotel room I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they’re using to clean but it seemed natural, sort of like a pine forest feel. We got a discounted queen suite which was well laid out, ample hot water, towels etc. We were beyond impressed with the experience and are very sad that these hotels aren’t available outside of Nebraska. I would never stay anywhere else!”

They have worked tirelessly to renovate, clean, organize the entire building to provide a large Metropolitan city vibe located in the heart of the city of Lincoln high above all the rest on prime estate with views of down town and easy accessibility to literally wherever both locals and travelers can use alike including the smoke shop and restaurants nest door attached to multiple gas stations slots down town and the like market places hardware and what have you”

“We booked our trip during a super busy time, but all the staff we interacted with: from Chauncey in security, to maintenance, housekeeping, the baristas, absolutely everyone was so nice and accommodating. We love the esthetic, the beds were almost too comfy, and all the quirky little bits of decor and attention to detail were very appreciated. And the French onion soup and calamari in their adjoining restaurant were to die for! Thanks for hosting our little Kearney family!”

“I've stayed in horrific hotels. I've stayed in amazing hotels and this was a pretty dang good one for the price. My only complaint is on the second floor. The outside hallway smelled really disgusting but the room itself was nice and clean. The AC worked perfectly. The Continental breakfast wasn't anything amazing but it wasn't horrible either. Overall I'm happy with the stay. It did everything I needed it too. The room didn't smell weird. Everything was clean so yeah all in all everything was great.”

“The experience was okay, but there were a few issues. We were first told like months ago we could book the room and pay cash on the day of arrival, just to be told the day of that we could not, so had to go and load. Also, was told one fee and had to pay another. I know online it was saying we had to pay like a $100 deposit, which probably was the extra charge, but didn't get it back and it's been almost three days since we left. We didn't leave the room with any damages at all. I know my gf and her family had high hopes for the place because they used to work there years ago, but they noticed a lot of changes and things that needed worked on like the dryer in the room wasn't working and like their hot tub that was raved about. Also there were many times no one was up front so I couldn't really ask anything if I did have questions.”
