1715 Van Dorn St, LincolnThe pet store side was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We bought a collar that seemed the right size but wasn't. The staff spent a lot of time helping me figure out the sizing issue and provided a direct exchange. Great experience.

Always smiling, always willing to be a part of a conversation 'bout birds, bees, pets, oh ya and bats. You always get help out to the car with your purchase. Great rewards plans, too.

Long Dog Fat Cat Glynoaks
8340 Glynoaks Dr. #110, LincolnI’ve been a regular customer here and usually have great experiences! I love the quality of food and the self-wash station. During a recent visit, I felt uncomfortable when an employee repeatedly questioned why I was using the wash station to clean my dog’s paws that were dirty with lake water. She also referred to it as ‘weird,’ even asking, ‘Why can’t you just do it at home?’ I was polite, asked permission first, and offered to use my own towel and pay, so the interaction felt unnecessarily judgmental. I still love the store overall, but wanted to share this feedback about that experience.

Pet Central Station
5591 S 48th St, Lincoln⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I take my two dogs to The Pet Station regularly, and it’s hands-down one of the best self-serve dog wash options in Lincoln—especially if you have multiple dogs. The tubs are easy to use, the staff is always helpful, and there are tons of shampoo and grooming options (de-shedding, oatmeal, wipes, dryers, ramps—everything you need).
What really makes it worth it are the monthly deals, like half-off washes and discounted nail trims, which add up fast when you’re caring for more than one dog. Consistently great value and perfect for multi-dog households.

Petco
5450 S 56th St, LincolnI enjoy petco for their variety. The pets do seem to always look pretty neglected and malnourished and I almost always see dead fish. Aquariums are my passion, so thats a huge turn off for me. I tend to only buy here if absolutely necessary. Sorry petco.

Petco
4701 O St, LincolnI buy aquarium stuff for a 90g, 29g and 29g saltwater. The guys in the fish department do an excellent job. Talk to Billy, Carlos or Jacob and they will help you. The tanks are very clean, dead fish are removed quickly and I have not had a problem with their water getting into mine. I also trust that the animals I buy are in good condition coming from this store.

The Kitty Groomer at 1515 S 22nd ST
1515 S 22nd St, LincolnLisa and her daughter are some of the sweetest and most cat loving people I have met. They know so much about cats, their behavior, and how to run a cat business. While I only go for nail trims once a month I feel like they know my cat and how she behaves after only a year of coming here. Highly recommend to anyone!

Certified Grooming
505 N 66th St, LincolnCertified Groomers is a good place to take your 'Pet' (Dog), if not a little pricey. Anyway, Lisa, the Owner, does a very good job, and you'll pay for it. I was very pleased with the job she did on my 'Big Fur Ball'. He doesn't like to be brushed so he gets pretty Matted in between groomings. I have only patronized Certified Groomers just once and only had my dog brushed out however I was very happy with the job that she did.I do have to say, that the price she quoted me seemed fairly consistent with other Groomers prices around town however when I went to pick my Dog up the amount she charged me was considerably higher than the quoted price. I do have to say that she did warn me, at drop-off, that there might be an upcharge if the Dog was very heavily matted, however half again of the quoted amount seems Excessive and I was shocked by this when I went to pick my dog up. A $130.00 to brush out a medium-sized dog (Keeshound) seems to me to be a lot, no matter how matted it is.In conclusion, Certified Groomers is a good place to bring your Dog, especially if you want a high-quality job done because they do a very good job, however, you are going to have to pay for it.So if high quality is what you're looking for and price is no option Certified Groomers is for you.Updated Revision:Ok, I have to admit that even though my review is overall positive about Certified Groomers thatIt may sound a little harsh, especially about the price. What I should have stated was that even though they maybe a little higher than most, but not all, they are a very Top Notch operation, and your Pet (Dog) will look great. Guaranteed. In my opinion.NOTE: No one or anything influenced my Revision of this Review.

The Groom Room Inc
1265 S Cotner Blvd, LincolnI am a picky dog mom and I absolutely trust the staff at the Groom Room with my pups. One of my pups is especially grumbly and the other is scared of everything. The staff love on my special dogs and appreciate them for their quirks. When I've used other groomers, I didn't ever know who would be working when my dogs went in. I see the same, consistent staff, every time I'm at the Groom Room which means they must be doing something right for their staff members too! I would trust them with my children if I had any. You won't regret choosing the Groom Room!

We were fortunate to tour the kennels before I booked and every dog there was quiet, calm, and happy. The playtime is great for socializing your dogs. Each guest is well loved! The staff are genuinely interested in making your pet’s experience the best possible. The environment is sparkling clean, peaceful, and has a friendly vibe. The groomers were excellent with my non-cooperative pup. I’m so grateful that I made the decision to change providers for my pups!

PRAIRIE SKIES: DOG TRAINING FOR OPEN SPACES
7405 Pioneers Blvd, LincolnMy big fear of my dog, Remi, running out the door happened again. Twice before training with Jill, she bolted out the door and didn’t look back. We had just adopted her from Capital Humane Society at 10 months old and didn’t want to risk her getting hit by a car since she wouldn’t come.
I was out back last night when one of the kids accidentally let her slip past. Remi started running away, and I called her. She turned around and came straight toward me. I am so grateful and know she would not have been able to do that without Jill’s help!
Remi was also barking her head off at other dogs on our first day of training and pulling hard on the leash. She now heels, and we don’t have the barking problem anymore. Jill’s classes are also affordable. I didn’t think there was any way I would be able to afford professional training.
I highly recommend her!
Thanks again Jill!

Greater Lincoln Obedience Club
5740 Johanna Rd Bay 4, LincolnHonestly, it was the most helpful weeks at teaching my dog obedience. The instructors really help you and it really helped strengthen my bond with my mini schnauzer. The way the class is broken up I would say it is more for humans then dogs in that they help teach you how to train your dog but it is up to you to work with your dog during and after classes to make it stick. If you want a quick fix without any work for your dogs behavior then this is not for you. However, if you want to grow with your dog and learn tools to help with training then you couldn't find better help.

Bin 105 quality wines
105 N 8th St #100, LincolnI always make a point to seek out wine bars and shops whenever I’m in a new city, and the moment I stumbled into Bin 105, I knew it was special. The people, the ambiance, and the wine selection are all so thoughtfully curated. There’s this perfect balance of charm, knowledge, and aesthetic that only comes from people who truly love what they do.
When my boyfriend and I first moved to Lincoln, we didn’t know a single person. We started coming here every Saturday in the summer for mimosas on the patio, and before we knew it, we were chatting with the owners and feeling completely at home. What started as a wine stop quickly became our place. A true home away from home.
As we prepare to move away, one of the last things I wanted to do was leave a review for this spot that meant so much to us. If you’re in the area and love great wine, genuinely good people, and a fun, welcoming place to hang out, you must stop here. And when you do, tell them the people from West Virginia sent you.
