The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Omaha Downtown offers a stay that many find adequate but with notable issues. The hotel features nice decor, is generally clean and quiet, and has a good location. Staff at check-in and for the shuttle are friendly and polite, with some staff members recognized for their exceptional service. Guests appreciate the attentive service at the bar and the helpfulness of the front desk staff, especially when addressing issues promptly. However, the hotel also has several shortcomings. Basic maintenance problems are common, such as slow-draining showers and toilets, non-functioning TV outlets, and air conditioning units that fail to shut off. Some rooms lack amenities like refrigerators, microwaves, and free breakfast options, and the parking costs $10 per night. Guests have encountered difficulty with the accessibility features, noting that automatic door openers did not work, and the handicapped stalls are too small for easy wheelchair access. Additionally, signage for restrooms is lacking, making it hard for visitors in wheelchairs to find suitable facilities. Service inconsistencies are also reported. Some guests experienced delays in maintenance, unclean glasses, and issues with room conditions like leaking toilets and the absence of hot water in sinks. Breakfast is priced at $18 per person, and parking fees add to the cost of the stay. Despite some positive experiences, such as clean rooms, good views, and friendly bar service, the overall impression is marred by maintenance flaws and service gaps, leading to mixed reviews about the hotel’s value and quality.
Room was clean, check in was fast, staff showed excellence in customer Service. Will stay here again.

Good enough but, no hot water. Just above room temp is as hot as it gets! We ended up leaving to a different hotel. There was a conference or something going on and apparently that was part of the reason? Too many people at once.
