Hy-Vee Grocery Store offers a neighborhood shopping experience known for quality, variety, and culinary expertise. The store is stocked with essential foods, produce, meats, seafood, and fresh bread, often specializing in local brands. Many customers praise the incredible service, with specific departments like the bakery and the meat counter receiving high praise for awesome, helpful staff and the best produce and smoked chicken in town. The store is also recommended for large orders. However, some experiences note a slow checkout with no engagement or interaction from staff, and a helpful smile in any aisle was not encountered. Despite this, many remain loyal customers who love the benefits and will drive a significant distance to shop there. For those with no time to stop in, online grocery shopping for pickup or delivery is available.

I love the size of this store, it's not too big, so it's easy to find what I need.

High prices unless you are using coupons or shopping the sales. Love their meat counter. I would say best out of all the other grocery stores in Omaha.
