βWe had a taco bar from Aviles Latin Market catered in for an office event this week. So yummy and so many compliments from co-workers that they loved it!
Also want to shout out the Aviles team for pulling this off as I totally dropped the ball in getting them our headcount when I said I would, resulting in not "officially confirming" our order. When I called the morning of to confirm the delivery, they graciously took everything in stride and made it happen at the correct time. So grateful for the Aviles team!β
βOrder flowers for Valentines day. At time of pick up the order was not at all what I expected. Lisa and Leann were quick to respond. Cleared up the miscommunication and made it right. Cant ask for more.β
βWe just wanted to put a review about our wonderful experience with Kenneth In the meat department. He was truly an absolutely pleasure to work with. He was polite kind and you can tell he really loves his job. We donβt frequent Fairway that much but we will be frequently more often. If Kenneth is there.β
βI went to this grocery store for the first time and was so impressed. It is very clean and organized and the produce looked fresh. What made the difference for me is the costumer service. Most stores you walk into and the employees have attitudes and you can tell they hate their job. Here, every one smiled, most said hi and wanted to talk to my little kids, and the ladies at the check out were so sweet, especially to my three little kids, which means a lot to me. I will definitely start shopping here for my groceries instead of Target like I usually do.β
βThis is a very cozy shop with fresh and tasty food! Just please pay attention to its working hours. I often made a mistake with the time and could not get there)β
βThe Papillion Hy-Vee is great! The staff is always friendly and helpful, which I really appreciate. I love that they have a deli counter, bakery, and meat counter. I also really appreciate the specialty section for gluten-free and other specific dietary items.β
βThe store is well laid out. Signage also makes it easy to find things in aisles. Finding "real" sales is a little challenging as well as sensory overload since practically everything on every shelf has a sign. I appreciate the quality meat, produce, and other products. We bought and cooked the filet mignon burgers from the meat counter. Don't be a hater... I cooked them to perfection in an air fryer and served them up on Kings Hawaiian rolls. All bought at Hy vee. Only downside is, I feel the pricing is a little high.β
βI miss this store! Prices are high in some things but the sales can be very good. We used to live by here so it was my βgo-toβ store. I remember the pizza and Chinese food they used to serve. Each time Iβve been in within the last 9 years has only been for specific items so I donβt take the time to wander around.β
βNumerous good experiences here, you always get a hello walking in or a wave if they happen to be talking to a customer on the phone. Good selections for a smaller family outfit. I hear they do pretty well giving back to the community and if you don't like the pricing to help the community too, then spend more of your precious time and gas going to the other big name grocery stores miles away. Thanks Y'all! Keep up the good work!β
βYou can tell slot bout the people who work there...it's nor a job to them, it's their objective to keep a clean store, great produce section, excellent deli selection n
ot to mental the best fried chicken around, and they keep the shelves stocked.β
βLove this store and it's great! They're changing the store inside and it's a little confusing now but I think it's for the better it looks really good!β
βI was there today and for the past 25 years I really had a bad experience I came to eat lunch as I finished eating I went to use the bathroom for a quick moment and to my surprise one of your employees throw my stuff away. That really tick me off I wasn't gone for not even 3 minutes. I hope this doesn't happens again.β
βTonight I saw a sign on the door with new hours posted. First, I saw the close time (10pm). Then, I saw the words Saturday and Sunday. I didn't pay attention to the order they were in. Talking with the cashier, the new close time came up.
"Just on the weekends though, right?" I said.
"No, everyday."
As I was walking out, I turned back to look at the sign. Sure enough, it said, "Sunday--Saturday".
I'm going to miss Ed. He has been my guy. Self checkout? Nah!! I'm gonna go through line and talk with Ed a little bit. Those friendly conversations are a great way to end my "day in the world".
Highly recommended.β
βFirst time I ever set foot in here. Once again I stopped in to use the restroom. and also the deli I got fried potatoes with ketchup and I saw some strawberry cheesecake got some of that and peach tree tea. Nice combo huh well its what sounded good that day on my amazon route.. ... . (O) (<>)β
βGreat little store! I appreciate being able to buy items we need but a bit closer to home. They have some decent produce for typical Mexican food, variety of tortillas and tostadas, etc. The ladies who run the store are always friendly. Check it out!β
βThis store carries many items that are available at larger, name brand stores. BIG Difference they are much more inexpensive. The service is good and employees are very helpful. So if you are trying to save some money in this high price grocery time, I strongly recommend Dollar General. We utilize it for many products and some of the products that they carry are very surprising as well as good quality finds. ENJOY!!β

βGo to this store anytime I'm getting late night munchies and they will always have something in store but just know something that they won't always have it but besides that it's a lovely welcoming place!!β

βThis Hy-Vee is right by my apartment. It almost always has exactly what I want. I think Oasis hummus is the one thing they don't carry. They have a post office. It has convenient hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. They're clean. It's easy to find things. They used to have dry-cleaning. The only drawback is they tend to be busier / more crowded and it seems more difficult to get out of the parking lot with traffic but you figure it out and get used to it.β
βWhile for my mom to get her hair done at Xenon I walked over here and did a little shopping. I was pleasantly surprised by how fully stocked the shelves were and the overall cleanliness of the store. 100 percent better than dollar tree stores I've been too. They have a very large selection of food items which I did not realize. I would shop here again.β
βWalmart is an amazing place to shop with fully stocked inventory. The prices and quality can't be beat. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and clean aisles. Thank you for making my daughter's bday extra special with the oreo cake I made from Betty Crocker's Delicious Box!β

βIt said they were open at 11am. I arrived a few minutes past, the door was locked and the lights were off. I was about to leave, but I decided to ask at another shop first to see if they knew what was going on with the place. They looked out back for me and saw that the owner's car was parked out there, he must have just arrived a little late. I went back out to their store front and the owner was heading to the front door. He was very nice. He informed me that his other associate had not shown up. He helped me find some things, and I continued to look around for a bit. Then I realized that he seemed to be antsy. He informed me that he had to leave again, so I paid for what was in hand and left.β

βRather yummo food. Seasoning on the fries is super good. The Afghani burger wasn't what I was expecting it to be since I hadn't heard of it before but it was very good. I'd eat there again.β
βThe store was well organized and clutter free. It was easy to walk around while pushing a cart. I found what I needed easily as well as doing plenty of browsing around. Self checkout was easy and I had no wait today. I really do prefer doing it on my own. Overall, it was a good experience.β
βI drove to this Dollar General today to find an item for my son, who had been pestering me for weeks for a Dollar General-only item that constantly sells instantly upon being stocked. I checked online and saw these items were probably in stock, but from my experience at numerous other stores, the online inventory is often wrong. I had been to 6 or 7 other Dollar Generals, and the employees were typically grumpy, unhelpful, and unwilling to check backstock to see if they had these items in the back of the store, since shelves were always empty.
Fast forward to today (04/07/25), I drove to the Springfield DG at about 8 am, right at opening time. I went in and was met by both Hattie and John. I asked if they had the product I was looking for, and they said they were sold out. John immediately called another store to check inventory for me, which was super cool, but not successful. I told Hattie that I had been searching for weeks for this item for my son, and she and John immediately started searching new inventory containers to try and find them for me. To my surprise, they found the item and sold it to me without skipping a beat.
I left that store feeling pretty good, not only because I finally was able to get items my son and I had been searching for for weeks, but because two friendly employees treated me like a human, had great interpersonal communication and guest service skills, and went the extra mile to help out a customer instead of doing the easy thing and simply saying they didn't have the item I was looking for, like every other dollar general had in the recent past.
Thanks again for making our day, guys!β
